    Abstract: A vehicle includes a transparent panel provided on an external surface of the vehicle and spaced from an internal component part disposed at a vehicle inner side and an exterior member at least one of whose end portions is adjacent to the transparent panel and which is disposed on the external surface so as to be substantially parallel to the transparent panel. The exterior member includes a light transmissive layer located at a vehicle outer side and a print layer that is located at the vehicle inner side of the light transmissive layer and in contact with the light transmissive layer and that includes a printed pixel pattern in which pixels are two-dimensionally arranged. The print layer is printed such that when the exterior member is viewed from outside the vehicle, a virtual image of the pixel pattern appears on the vehicle inner side of the print layer.

    Abstract: A tilt-up device tilts a rear end of a movable roof upwardly when the movable roof is moved from a normal position above the passenger's compartment of an automobile. The tilt-up device is mounted on a surface, which faces the passenger's compartment, of a fixed roof substantially centrally thereon in a transverse direction of the automobile body, and is positioned in front of a seal on the fixed roof. A trunk lid lifting and lowering device is mounted in a trunk and connected to an end of a trunk lid for selectively lifting the trunk lid away from a trunk and lowering the trunk lid toward the trunk. The trunk lid lifting and lowering device has a stopper device for inactivating the trunk lid lifting and lowering device when the trunk lid is locked by a lock device with the trunk lid lowered.

    Abstract: An apparatus for feeding elongate workpieces intermittently sideways one by one to successively located machining and parts-assembling stations includes a pair of parallel spaced feed rods supported on a transfer table and extending in a direction in which the workpieces are transferred. Each of the feed rods has a plurality of workpiece holders spaced therealong at an interval that corresponds to a distance at which the processing stations are spaced. The feed rods are movable axially back and forth by a drive mechanism for a stroke corresponding to the above-mentioned interval. The feed rods are supported at their ends in bearing units and rotatable by gearing in the bearing units between a first position in which the workpiece holders hold the workpieces at a retracted position of the feed rods and a second position in which the workpiece holders release the workpieces at an advanced position of the feed rods.
