  • Publication number: 20220043008
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a hemoglobin measurement reagent and measurement method that allow for more accurate measurement of the amount of hemoglobin by suppressing a decrease in a measured value of hemoglobin triggered by the addition of haptoglobin. The reagent for measuring hemoglobin of the present invention includes: an insoluble carrier immobilizing an anti-hemoglobin antibody; and an insoluble carrier immobilizing an anti-haptoglobin antibody. The method for measuring hemoglobin in a specimen of the present invention includes: a step (1) of mixing a specimen with haptoglobin and forming a hemoglobin-haptoglobin complex to obtain a sample containing the hemoglobin-haptoglobin complex; and a step (2) of bringing the sample obtained in the step (1) into contact with the insoluble carrier immobilizing an anti-hemoglobin antibody and the insoluble carrier immobilizing an anti-haptoglobin antibody to cause immunoagglutination.

  • Patent number: 11175292
Abstract: The present invention provides an anti-human hemoglobin monoclonal antibody or an antibody kit for specifically detecting and measuring a hemoglobin-haptoglobin complex in a sample with ease, and an insoluble carrier particle to which the monoclonal antibody is immobilized, and a measurement reagent and a measurement method for specifically detecting and measuring a hemoglobin-haptoglobin complex in a sample using the same. The anti-human hemoglobin monoclonal antibody of the present invention does not react to free hemoglobin or free haptoglobin which is not formed in a complex, but specifically reacts to a hemoglobin-haptoglobin complex when the antibody is immobilized to an insoluble carrier particle and used.

  • Publication number: 20210116465
Abstract: This invention provides a stool specimen test device comprising: a suction port of a sample comprising a stool suspension; a sampling verification section that detect a specimen without the collected stool sample based on the absorbance of the stool suspension measured at the first wavelength; and a sample measurement section that performs measurement based on the absorbance measured at the second wavelength. This invention can improve the test accuracy by detecting a specimen without the collected stool sample in the stool specimen test.

  • Publication number: 20200407425
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of stabilizing a protein. The method includes a step of causing a protein contained in a specimen derived from a living body to coexist with an arylboronic acid. The protein contained in the specimen derived from the living body is at least one type selected from the group consisting of hemoglobin, haptoglobin, and a hemoglobin-haptoglobin complex. According to the present invention, it is possible to stabilize a protein such as a blood protein contained in the specimen derived from a living body. The present invention further provides a stabilizing solution for stabilizing a protein contained in a specimen derived from a living body and a method and a kit for detecting a protein contained in a specimen derived from a living body.
