  • Patent number: 9581806
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to cut down the travel distance of a display image on receiving a stop instruction intended for a stepping motor and thereby reduce a feeling of strangeness perceived by a user. A display device allows a user to view the image displayed on a display at a prescribed display position. The display device comprises: a stepping motor having a rotor including a magnet and driven by a micro-step drive method; a reflector which moves in accordance with the rotation of the rotor in the stepping motor so as to move the display position; and a motor control device. The motor control device identifies a rotational position of the rotor between adjacent stable excitation positions, and moves the rotor to reach the closer of the stable excitation positions on the basis of the identified rotational position on receiving a stop instruction intended for the stepping motor.

  • Patent number: 9002969
Abstract: A distributed multimedia server system includes a buffer server module, a storage server module, and an intercluster connection network. Based on memory information on a buffer memory of the storage server module that stores divided multimedia information, the buffer server module obtains the divided multimedia information from the buffer memory using remote direct memory access. The storage server module reads the divided multimedia information requested from the buffer server module from a storage device, and stores the divided multimedia information in the buffer memory.

  • Patent number: 6499681
Abstract: A crushing device in a crusher includes a bucket-shaped body frame; plural ring members provided in the body frame in such a manner as to form steps at predetermined spaced intervals while diminishing their sizes gradually from the upper position toward the lower position, thereby to form a sieve with gaps as a whole; a teeth plate provided at the bottom portion of the sieve and having recessed teeth and protrusive teeth alternately formed on the inner surface thereof; a crushing shaft provided at a central portion of the body frame; and an inclined screw belt member mounted on the crushing shaft, for crushing pieces of concrete on the teeth plate in combination with the teeth plate.

  • Patent number: 5887110
Abstract: A video data playback system for reproducing requested video data by switching coded video data to be reproduced between normal playback coded video data and fast playback coded video data according to a requested playback mode, where the normal playback coded video data are encoded by a first video coding scheme using both intra-frame coding and inter-frame coding, while the fast playback coded video data are encoded by a second video coding scheme using only intra-frame coding and having a playback bit rate and a frame rate identical to those of the normal playback coded video data. The normal playback coded video data can be obtained by encoding the original video data first, then the fast playback coded video data can be obtained by encoding selectively decoded normal playback coded video data. Alternatively, the normal and fast playback coded video data can be obtained by synchronizing start and end of encoding by the first video coding scheme and encoding by the second video coding scheme.
