  • Patent number: 9235912
Abstract: An image display device includes a display unit, a graph display control unit, a display range displacement unit, a plotted point change unit and a graph update control unit. The graph display control unit displays an approximate graph for plotted points on an image display region to which a coordinate system is set. The display range displacement unit displaces a display range of the coordinate system with an image in the image display region fixed. Responding to the display range being displaced, the plotted point change unit changes coordinate values of the plotted points in accordance with displacements of the display range to maintain positions of the plotted points before and after the display range being displaced, and updates display of the plotted points, and the graph update control unit updates a content displayed by the graph display control unit.

  • Patent number: 9195430
Abstract: An image display terminal includes an image display control unit, a display range setting unit, a display range sending unit and a graph expression receiving unit. The image display control unit displays a background image in a display screen. The display range setting unit sets display range data of a coordinate system to an image display region of the display screen. The display range sending unit sends the display range data to at least one other image display terminal which displays the background image displayed on the image display terminal. After the display range data is set to an image display region of the other image display terminal, the graph expression receiving unit receives, from the other image display terminal, graph expression data for a graph figure displayed on the image display region of the other image display terminal.

  • Patent number: 8576230
Abstract: A scientific electronic calculator includes a display unit which performs display by a plurality of dots and a CPU which displays X and Y axes on the display unit and displays scales on the X axis at predetermined scale intervals. The CPU displays a graph in a coordinate system determined by the X and Y axes moves the trace pointer on the graph dot by dot in an X-axis direction according to a user operation, and displays coordinate values of the trace pointer on the display unit, while displaying a trace pointer on the graph The CPU sets a numerical width of the X axis in such a way that a value obtained by dividing the numerical width of the X axis by a scale interval is one N-th of the number of dots in an X-axis direction, the N which is an integer, and displays the X axis.

  • Patent number: 8542254
Abstract: A graph arbitrarily input by the user is displayed on a dot-matrix display screen. When an instruction to determine any one of the characteristic points, such as intersections, local maxima, or local minima, is given, an characteristic point to be determined is calculated and the result is pointed by pointer P and, at the same time, the coordinates (X, Y) of the characteristic point are displayed. Depending on whether there is one other graph which overlaps or makes contact with the characteristic point of the graph and displayed dots of the graph near the characteristic point, it is determined whether a locus of the graph near the characteristic point is displayed unclearly. If the condition for unclear display has been satisfied, the graph including the characteristic point is enlarged repeatedly at the enlargement factor set by the user until the condition for unclear display is not fulfilled.

  • Patent number: 5535317
Abstract: A graph display apparatus includes a plurality of functional formulas to be displayed as graphs and their coordinate ranges are stored in a memory by operating numeric .multidot. symbol keys on a key input unit. The plurality of stored formulas are displayed on a display unit by operating a "list" key. When a plurality of arbitrary formulas are designated and a "synthesis" key is operated, the graphs of the designated formulas are calculated and displayed on a single coordinate system in accordance with coordinate ranges of the formula which is designated first. When the plurality of arbitrary formulas are designated and a "division" key is operated, the functional formulas are displayed on different coordinate systems in accordance with corresponding coordinate ranges. When the graphs of a plurality of input formulas are calculated and displayed, the individual graphs can be appropriately synthesized or divided and can be displayed in comparison with each other.

  • Patent number: 5141469
Abstract: A toy racing set includes an endless track and a remote-controlled self-propelled wireless racing toy adapted to travel around the track in a predetermined direction. The track includes a number of curved and straight sections connected to one another in such a manner as to establish a desired closed-loop race course. The straight sections of the track have a plurality of linear grooves extending generally parallel to the travel direction of the racing toy. The curved sections have a plurality of discontinuous turning grooves which are oriented at an angle from an outside portion of the curved section towards an inside portion of the curved section with respect to the predetermined travel direction of the racing toy as the racing toy enters the curved section from an adjacent straight section. The racing toy is of the single-channel variety (i.e.
