  • Patent number: 11972053
Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to provide a tactile presentation control apparatus that can provide an operation feeling of a dial knob that allows intuitive operation by a tactile sense of the user, and is user-friendly. A tactile presentation control apparatus according to the present disclosure that has a tactile presentation knob placed on an operation surface and presents a tactile sense to the user via the tactile presentation knob. The tactile presentation control apparatus includes a tactile control unit that performs control to present different tactile senses to each of a plurality of operation regions on the operation surface when the tactile presentation knob is rotationally operated. When the tactile presentation knob is present in one of the operation regions, the tactile control unit performs control to present, as the tactile sense, a frictional force generated in the tactile presentation knob to the operation region.

  • Publication number: 20190285427
Abstract: A communication device according to an embodiment includes a calculation unit, a prediction unit, and a creation unit. The calculation unit calculates a probability that a terminal device actually moves on each movement route that is predicted based on a movement history of the terminal device. The prediction unit predicts a communication quality on the movement route with the probability that is calculated by the calculation unit. The creation unit creates a communication schedule of data communication for the terminal device based on the probability on each movement route that is calculated by the calculation unit and the communication quality that is predicted by the prediction unit.

  • Patent number: 9235255
Abstract: In a semiconductor integrated circuit having a power domain and a mechanism for a power supply shutoff, when a power supply to the power domain is started, if a clock for an initialization operation is supplied in a state where a voltage to the power domain is unstable, power consumption during the initialization operation increases. Thus, the clock for the initialization operation of the power domain is supplied after detecting that the voltage supplied to the power domain is stabilized.

  • Patent number: 8473058
Abstract: An apnea preventing stimulation apparatus having a conductive unit is attached to a mental region of a patient and electric pulses flow from the conductive unit to the mental region of the patient to thereby apply stimuli thereto. A formula is utilized to increase a rate of an output level of the amplitude in an electric pulse until a first time width elapses. Consequently, immediately after outputting stimulation signals, the amplitude of the electric pulse groups does not abruptly increase, thus enabling the patient to be hardly affected by the stimulation signals. Until just before the time reaches the end of a time width after the output start of the stimulation signal, the rate of the output level of the amplitude in the electric pulse groups does not reach 1, permitting the emotional strain on the patient to be eased.

Abstract: An apnea preventing stimulation apparatus in which a conductive unit is attached to a mental region of a patient and electric pulses conduct from the conductive unit to the mental region of the patient to thereby apply stimulation thereto. The apparatus includes a stimulus generating means that outputs, across output terminals of the conductive unit, stimulation signals which alternately repeat, for a preset time, a conduction period during which electric pulse groups comprising plural electric pulses are generated and a pause period during which no electric pulse groups are generated. Hence, without monitoring a respiratory condition during sleep, the upper airway obstruction can be quickly prevented. Further, as the stimulation signals can be applied to the patient irrespective of presence or absence of respiration of the patient, the patient hardly awakes by sensing the stimulation signals.
