    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method by an electronic device includes: receiving audio data including a voice of a user; performing voice recognition to translate the audio data to text including a first character string corresponding to the voice; determining whether the first character string is registered in conversion information; displaying, when the first character string is registered in the conversion information, a second character string associated with the first character string in the conversion information; receiving, when an instruction is received from the user and when the first character string is not registered in the conversion information, a third character string obtained by editing the first character string; and registering, when the third character string is found in program information, the third character string in the conversion information so as to associate the third character string with the first character string.
