  • Patent number: 10232715
Abstract: A vehicle control device is provided for hybrid vehicles with which it is possible to improve the detection accuracy of an electric leakage. The vehicle control device determines an occurrence of an electric leakage of a strong current system that is routed from a high power battery to a motor. The vehicle control device includes an integrated controller that executes a process that prohibits a mode switch between an HEV mode for traveling by the drive force of the engine and the motor, and an EV mode for traveling by the drive force of only the motor during an electric leakage detection.

  • Patent number: 5132653
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an electromagnetic switch that includes a casing in which are received a yoke, a bobbin, a coil, a plunger, and contacts. The plunger is formed of an electrically conductive material and the casing is formed of an insulating material. The casing comprises a square box-shaped body and a covering member fitted in an open end of the body. The yoke includes a sheet member having a generally U-shaped section and having opposite end portions between which a portion of the covering member is interposed. The opposite end portions are formed in part into at least one pair of inwardly extending lugs force-fitted in the above portion of the covering member. The covering member has a recess formed in a side surface thereof opposed to the contacts. The covering member has a partition wall formed thereon and separating the contacts from leader ends of the coil.

  • Patent number: 4692835
Abstract: A fuse circuit unit for combination with an electromagnetic switch has a first terminal having one end thereof adapted to be connected to one terminal of a main fuse of a load circuit, and another end adapted to be connected to of the input terminal of the electromagnetic switch. The fuse circuit unti also has a second terminal having one end thereof adapted to be connected to another terminal of the main fuse, and another end adapted to be connected to the load circuit, and a casing supporting the first and second terminals. The casing of the fuse circuit unit is engageable with the electromagnetic switch, and the first terminal of the fuse circuit unit is removably fastened to the input terminal of the electromagnetic switch to mechanically and electrically connect them together. The casing is molded from a resin in a one-piece body, together with the first and second terminals.

  • Patent number: 4444856
Abstract: In a battery of a vehicle such as motorcycle, the bottom is indented at both ends in the longitudinal direction; i.e., with respect to both end portions, in the longitudinal direction of the bottom, the middle portion protrudes downwardly, so that the battery is more advantageously accommodated in the triangular space formed by the motorcycle frame.
