  • Patent number: 7520603
Abstract: In an inkjet printer including first to n-th paper storages, such as a magazine type storage or a cassette type storage, and associated first to n-th upstream transport lines (where n is a natural number larger than 1), a paper carrier (switchback unit) is provided which has a roller pair reciprocable between any of first to n-th receive points corresponding to the downstream ends of the first to n-th upstream transport lines, respectively, and a forwarding point corresponding to the upstream end of a downstream transport line by means of a moving mechanism. The paper carrier is configured so that the roller pair receives and grips, at one of the first to n-th receive points, a sheet of printing paper transported from the associated upstream transport line, the moving mechanism moves the roller pair from the receive point to the forwarding point and the gripped sheet of printing paper is forwarded at the forwarding point to the downstream transport line.

  • Patent number: 6581259
Abstract: An attachment construction includes an attachment member in which a body of a blind rivet is integral with a head of the blind rivet. The body of the blind rivet is inserted into a fastening hole formed in a base material. The head of the blind rivet is placed in contact with a peripheral edge of the fastening hole of the base material. A boundary region exists between the body of the blind rivet and the head of the blind rivet and the boundary region has a cylindrical shape substantially parallel to the outer peripheral surface of the body of the blind rivet. The boundary region is mounted on a blind rivet fastening device for fastening the blind rivet to the base material. The blind rivet has a diameter smaller than a diameter of the fastening hole in the base material for ease of dismounting the blind rivet from the base material using a dismounting device.

  • Patent number: 6240541
Abstract: A circuit designing apparatus of an interactive type which enables a simplified and highspeed circuit design process while largely reducing a burden on a designer, having a speed analyzing unit for conducting a delay computation for each wiring path on a circuit to be designed and a display control unit for displaying a result of the delay computation by the speed analyzing unit on a display unit. When the speed analyzing unit conducts a delay computation, a delay value of each logic component forming the circuit that is an object of the design is set and altered according to a dullness of a signal waveform inputted to the logic component. The circuit designing apparatus of an interactive type may be applied to a system for conducting a circuit design of an integrated circuit such as an LSI or the like or a printed circuit board.

  • Patent number: 5644500
Abstract: This invention is directed to a method and apparatus to find out an optimum solution in automatic routing or automatic placement with certainty and at a high-speed to improve a routing rate, and to realize automatic routing in a high-density. To these end, a routing approach is selected in a conversational mode while routing efficiency is consulted to compose routing processing procedure so as to generate a routing program. Besides, component placement processing procedures designated according to placement control information are combined to generate the placement program. A straight line between component pins adjacent to each other is defined as a chord, a wave for maze method routing is generated from a start point toward an end point of a routing path and propagated between the chords adjacent to each other.
