Abstract: A disclosed semiconductor integrated circuit interfaces an external circuit and a host for controlling the external circuit and obtains data used to interface the external circuit and the host from a rewritable external memory. The disclosed semiconductor integrated circuit includes external terminals to which an external signal line group is connected, the external signal line group including signal lines connecting the external circuit and the external memory in parallel; an external terminal interface circuit configured to interface the semiconductor integrated circuit and the external circuit or the external memory connected via the external signal line group; and a control circuit configured to activate or deactivate the external circuit and the external memory. The control circuit is configured to activate either the external circuit or the external memory that is to be accessed via the external terminal interface circuit.

Abstract: A control program download device is disclosed that is to be connected to a host computer and to one or more external devices having predetermined functions so as to download a control program for controlling the external device from the host computer to a rewritable internal memory circuit. The control program download device comprises an external setting unit in which external information indicating the connection to the external device is preset, an external memory unit into which the external information is loaded from the external setting unit in response to a control signal input to the external memory unit, and a download control unit that controls download of the control program to the internal memory circuit.

Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit configured to perform image processing includes a data processing section and a process control section which is provided with an image data storage means. The process control section is configured to determine enabling/disabling of an image processing function of the data processing section. By disabling the image processing function, image data from an image sensor are transmitted to an image data receiving section. By enabling the image processing function, prefixed image data are transmitted as alternative image data. With the present device configuration, image data acquired by an image sensor are transmitted to personal computer not only directly as acquired, but also as prefixed image data as a result of suitable processing, which can be utilized as a substitute for image data inappropriate for normal image display.

Abstract: A resin composition comprising an olefin resin (A), a copolymer of olefin with non-conjugated diene (B) and at least one polymer (C) selected from the group consisting of the following polymers;C1: diene polymer containing a hydroxyl group or the hydrogenation product thereof,C2: polymer containing a hydroxyl group,C3: polymer containing a carboxyl group (including an acid anhydride group),C4: polymer containing an amino group and/or imino group, andC5: polymer containing an epoxy group; and optionally an elastomer (D), filler (E) and at least one compound (F) selected from the group consisting of the following compounds;F1: organotin compound,F2: tertiary amine compound, andF3: phosphorus oxy compound.The moldings prepared from this resin composition have remarkable adhesive properties for paints, adhesives and printing inks. Thus, paints, etc. may be applied directly to the moldings, without surface treatment or washing thereof.

Abstract: A composition comprising an amorphous resin (excluding polyphenylene ether) and a specific diamide compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are defined in the specification. The moldability of the amorphous resin is improved without reducing its heat resistance.
