Patent number: 6600400Abstract: The present invention relates to an electromagnetic electro-acoustic transducer to be used for generating an incoming indicator tone for mobile phones and the like. A resin magnet 11 is formed with a hard magnetic material and a soft magnetic material, the lowest resonant frequency can be easily set by changing the magnetic flux density in a magnetic gap by changing the compound ratio of the soft magnetic material, a high magnetic flux density is attained by increasing the magnetic permeability of the resin magnet 11 with the soft magnetic material, thus achieving a smaller size as well as a higher sound pressure through an increase in the driving force exerted to the diaphragm.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2001Date of Patent: July 29, 2003Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kimihiro Andou, Mitsutaka Enomoto, Masaki Suzumura, Katsuhiko Minaga, Shuji Saiki, Sawako Usuki

Patent number: 6373958Abstract: An electro-mechanical-audio converter and an electro-mechanical-audio converting device using the same employed in mobile terminals such as mobile phones for generating paging vibration which realizes stable vibration function. The electro-mechanical-audio converter includes a housing (1a), movable part (2), forming a magnetic circuit, mounted on an opening of the housing (1a) through a suspension (3); and a detection coil (11) disposed near the movable part (2) for generating excitation voltage by vibration of the movable part (2). Strong vibration of the movable part (2) during resonance is detected by the detection coil (11) as an excitation voltage, and fed back. Accordingly, the electro-mechanical-audio converter and electro-mechanical-audio converting device using the same having an extremely stable vibration function, even when resonance frequency changes due to environmental changes such as ambient temperature, is made feasible.Type: GrantFiled: May 31, 2000Date of Patent: April 16, 2002Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Mitsutaka Enomoto, Masakuni Hirata, Takanori Fukuyama, Mitsukazu Kuze

Patent number: 6045041Abstract: Cassette managing data is read or written with a cassette accommodated in its bin. Cassettes 2a, 2b, 2c, and so on are attached at particular positions thereof to IC cards 1a, 1b, 1c, and so on respectively. Cassette bins 4a, 4b, 4c, and so on have read/write devices 3a, 3b, 3c and so on respectively at positions communicable with the IC cards. Control information of each cassette is read with the cassette accommodated in its bin from the read/write device and the read control information is controlled by a control server 5 via a LAN 9a. A robotics unit 8 is controlled by the control server 5 via a LAN 9c to move cassettes to the bins 4a, 4b, 4c, and so on or an image and/or sound information input/output block 7.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 1997Date of Patent: April 4, 2000Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Shosuke Tanaka, Mitsutaka Enomoto, Teruyuki Yoshida

Patent number: 5889732Abstract: A sounder has a first plate 1 that is molded into a lower case. The first plate functions not only as part of a magnetic circuit, but also as a terminal on the outside of the sounder. The first plate has a coil positioned around a center pole on the first plate and a coil connector for attachment to an end of the coil. A second plate 5 is molded into the lower case and also has a coil connector for attachment to another end of the coil. Accordingly, both ends of the coil can be coupled to the connectors on the inside of the sounder. With this arrangement, the outside of the plates are conductive to an outside connector terminal, thereby eliminating having to pull out both ends of the coil from behind the plates.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 1997Date of Patent: March 30, 1999Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Takanori Fukuyama, Yoshinobu Sengiku, Mitsutaka Enomoto, Kazuhiro Yoshida, Kazuya Yamasaki

Patent number: 5659877Abstract: A system for distributing broadcasting material a source station transmits a material signal representing a series of broadcasting material segments, together with a segment data signal containing segment data, such as the absolute start frame number of each segment and the number of frames in each segment. Each of a number of branch stations receives the transmitted material segments and the segment data signal, records the broadcasting material segments, and then files away the broadcasting material segments, for example in a cart machine, in accordance with the received segment data. The transmission may be by way of an artificial satellite, and it is unnecessary for the transmission from the satellite to the branch stations to be synchronised with the transmission from the source station to the satellite.Type: GrantFiled: January 3, 1995Date of Patent: August 19, 1997Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Mitsutaka Enomoto, Mamoru Ishiguro, Masato Yokota, Shingo Yamauchi
