  • Patent number: 9329357
Abstract: An imaging unit is provided with a cylindrical lens barrel, and an object-side lens which is disposed in the lens barrel and is fixed to the lens barrel using an adhesive. The lens barrel includes three abutting portions and three adhesive portions. The object-side lens abuts the three abutting portions in an optical axis direction of the object-side lens, and the adhesive portions are formed between an outer circumferential surface of the object-side lens and an inner circumferential surface of the lens barrel, and the adhesive is injected therein. The three adhesive portions are formed at an interval in a circumferential direction. The three adhesive portions and the three abutting portions do not overlap each other in plan view as seen from a vertical direction.

  • Patent number: 9259942
Abstract: A transportation device includes a transportation unit that transports continuous paper, and an image capturing unit that has a light irradiator capable of irradiating the continuous paper which is transported by the transportation unit with light and detects a transportation amount of the continuous paper based on reflected light of the light irradiated onto the continuous paper by the light irradiator. The light irradiator is arranged so as to irradiate the continuous paper with light obliquely with respect to the detection region of the continuous paper from the width direction side of the continuous paper, which is orthogonal to the transportation direction of the continuous paper.

  • Publication number: 20150277124
Abstract: An electro-optical device includes: a light source which generates a light beams having various angle components; and a first optical element includes a plurality of light guiding materials are bonded to each other via a half mirror layer. The first optical element includes a first surface and a second surface, an incident surface is formed so as to intersect the first surface at a first angle, an emitting surface is formed so as to intersect the first surface at a second angle. A first part of the light is a light reflected by the second surface, and is incident on the emitting surface. The first optical element is formed so that the first part of the light is reflected by the emitting surface, with angles of the first angle and the second angle, and with a refractive index of the plurality of light guiding materials.

  • Publication number: 20150273869
Abstract: A positioning method of a photoelectric conversion device (an imaging device) includes irradiating an optical member with light and receiving light which passes through an opening of a light shielding member and the optical member with the photoelectric conversion device. The photoelectric conversion device is moved in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis of the optical member and a first position at which the photoelectric conversion device detects a side of an opening and a second position at which the photoelectric conversion device detects another side opposing the side are acquired. A position of the photoelectric conversion device at which a center of the opening and a center position of the photoelectric conversion device are aligned based on the first position and the second position is determined. The photoelectric conversion device is fixed at the determined position.
