  • Patent number: 10859959
Abstract: An image forming apparatus (1) includes a display (20), a detector (30), a determination section (101), a processing section (102), and an image forming section (140). The display (20) displays an image exhibiting a seating chart including a plurality of seat images. The detector (30) detects a first movement trace of a detection target on the display (20). The determination section (101) determines an order of the plurality of seat images based on the first movement trace. The processing section (102) processes an original document image to generate a plurality of output images respectively corresponding to the plurality of seat images. The image forming section (140) forms the plurality of output images on a plurality of sheets, respectively, in accordance with the order determined by the determination section (101). At least two output images of the plurality of output images are at least partially different from each other.

  • Patent number: 9560222
Abstract: A document reading device includes a document reading section, a sticky note image detecting section, a first determining section, a detection target image storage section, a consistent image detecting section, a second determining section, and a control section. When the first determining section determines that the position of a sticky note image in a document image of an original document is at a location in the document where a content is described and the second determining section determines that an image consistent with the sticky note image is located at a signature space in a second document image of the original document read by a different reading, the control section permits formation or saving of the second document image acquired by the different reading.

  • Patent number: 9547292
Abstract: An input device includes a touch panel and a control unit. The touch panel is configured to be switched between a normal operation mode and a special operation mode. The control unit is configured to control the touch panel. In the special operation mode, the control unit is configured to: generate a special-operation-mode-based input portion based on a continuous contact with the touch panel; and accept a release of the continuous contact with the touch panel as an input to the special-operation-mode-based input portion.

  • Patent number: 9124838
Abstract: A document reading device includes a document reading section, an image memory, and an image processing section. The image processing section is configured to retrieve an image of an original document from the image memory and process the image. The image processing section includes: a mark recognizing section configured to recognize an image of a predetermined mark made on the original document; a sticky note recognizing section configured to recognize an image of a sticky note placed on a predetermined position of the original document relative to the mark; a mask determining section configured to determine in which mask pattern the mark is masked with the sticky note; and an image manipulating section configured to manipulate the image of the sticky note according to the mask pattern determined by the mask determining section.
