  • Patent number: 8180202
Abstract: A robot including a controller and multiple servos, each acting as an actuator, and a supply voltage generator circuit connected to a transmission line between the controller, which controls using the RS485 communication protocol, and the servos. The reference voltage generator circuit maintains one of a pair of differential signals (or an inversion signal) at a constant potential between a high level and a low level. As a result, a TTL communication scheme servo can be mounted and controlled, along with a RS485 scheme servo. A supply voltage generator circuit is formed of a Zener diode and a voltage divider circuit. Without being limited to incorporation at some midpoint on the transmission path, the supply voltage generator circuit can be incorporated in a controller or a hub for splitting a transmission path.

The reference voltage generator circuit maintains one of a pair of differential signals (or an inversion signal) at a constant potential between a high level and a low level. As a result, a TTL communication scheme servo can be mounted and controlled, in addition to a RS485 scheme servo. A supply voltage generator circuit is formed of a Zener diode and a voltage divider circuit. • Patent number: 5644514
Abstract: An interpolation circuit for a measuring device capable of increasing a resolution and providing a velocity proportional output. Both sin .theta. signal and cos .theta. signal outputted from a sensor is fed to a balanced modulation adding circuit, resulting in providing a sin(.omega.t-.theta.) signal, which is then shaped into a pulse wave in a waveform shaping circuit. Then, a higher harmonic component is extracted by a BPF and then mixed with cos n.omega.t and sin n.omega.t signals in mixers, so that cos n.theta. and sin n.theta. signals are taken out of LPFs, respectively. The signals are subject to interpolation in a voltage comparison interpolation circuit of which the number of dividing is m, resulting in providing an interpolation circuit of which the whole number of dividing is m.multidot.n. Interpolation output A-phase and B-phase thereof each are a velocity proportional output.
