Abstract: A step structure for a saddle-ride vehicle includes a step that is turned in a freely derricking manner between a usage state raised in a vehicle width direction and a storage state falling along a lateral side of a vehicle. In the step structure for the saddle-ride vehicle, the step is turnably arranged with a shaft provided at an end of the step as the center. The step is also stored in such a manner wherein the shaft is positioned at the rear of the step in the storage state.

Abstract: A body cover for a motorcycle having a body frame including a front cover extending around and covering a front part of the body frame from the front to a left and a right side thereof, the front cover having an opening at each side with each opening providing access to an engine, a pair of side covers with each side cover adapted to be removably attached to cover an opening at one side of the front cover and each of the side covers being formed to provide an outer surface which is a smooth continuation of an adjacent outer surface of the front cover. A second part of each side cover gradually inclines toward the body frame and a rear part extends along the side of the body frame under the seat. Each of the side covers extends from the front to the rear of the main frame member and covers one side of the main frame member, back stay and seat rail.

Abstract: A cowling device for a cycle type vehicle includes a forward unit defining a radiator air intake opening and separate removable central panels spaced from the forward unit to define a pair of side air exit openings. A relatively small amount of intake air is ducted between these central panels to the powerplant, while most is ducted alongside the vehicle through the air exit openings in a streamlined manner.
