Abstract: In an image processing apparatus, the head top of a subject is detected, and the positions of a camera and a mirror are adjusted so that the coordinates of the detected head top coincide with the coordinates of a reference head top. When it is determined that the coordinates coincide with each other, the image size of a face of the subject is detected, and the zoom of the camera is controlled so that the detected image size and a reference image size coincide with each other. When it is determined that the image size of the face and the reference image size coincide, the positions of the camera and the mirror are adjusted again so that the coordinates of the head top of the subject and the coordinates of the reference head top coincide with each other.

Abstract: A first editor memory is supplied with picture data that a user has selected, a second editor memory is supplied with a template that the user has selected, and a key memory is supplied with a key information that the user has selected. A switch inserts the picture data into the template in accordance with key information to deliver it to a video memory. A picture synthesis section inserts the picture data stored in the first editor memory into the picture insertion area designated by the key information within the template stored in the second editor memory in accordance with instruction from the user.

In an information storage system there are included a server apparatus that is connected to a network and stores image data supplied via the network and a terminal that is installed in the street and used by the user to transmit the image data to the server apparatus via the network and read the image data specified according to external operations from the server apparatus via the network.

Abstract: A photographic apparatus is described which outputs a photographed image immediately to paper by a simple operation. The photographic apparatus includes an electronic camera for electronically acquiring an image, a connection base for removably connecting the electronic camera thereto, the connection base having a function of reading out image data from the electronic camera while the camera is connected thereto, and a printing section for acquiring the image data from the connection base and outputting an image based on the image data to paper.

Thereby, is now possible to have images printed based on image data retained in the server means with the use of a desired printing means of the plurality of printing means.

Abstract: A color printer is provided in which a paper sheet is wrapped about a rotatable platen and three colors are printed on the sheet, to obtain an image, by a thermal head and a color ribbon during three rotations of the platen. In a paper feeding device for the printer, a sheet of paper is fed by a feeding roller, from the bottom of a stack of paper sheets in a paper tray through, a feeding guide to the platen. The tray has an opening in its bottom plate so as to expose the lowermost paper sheet stored therein. The feeding roller is provided under the tray and lifts up toward the opening of the tray so as to come in engagement with the lowermost paper sheet, the feeding roller rotating to feed it to the platen. The width of the platen is less than that of the sheet and the circumference thereof is less than the length of the sheet. Therefore, when the sheet is wrapped about the platen, it extends laterally outward from the ends thereof, and its ends overlap.
