  • Patent number: 6392514
Abstract: A terminal unit having connection conductors to be connected to corresponding terminals of a switch is installed in a terminal section of the switch, and an external electric wire is connected to each terminal section of the connection conductors. Thus, the insulation distance between phases for the terminal sections and the insulation distance between the terminal section and a panel cut surface are increased according to the requirement of the switch. The shape and size of the terminal unit can be set regardless of the switch, so that a required insulation distance is obtained without increasing the size of the switch main body.

  • Patent number: 6150908
Abstract: An insulated container of a circuit breaker is divided into three vertically-arranged portions including a case, a middle case, and a cover. A fixed contact shoe and a movable contact shoe are accommodated in the case. An opening and closing mechanism and an overcurrent trip device are accommodated in the middle case. A holder slidably passing through a hole in a bottom wall of the middle case by an operation of the opening and closing mechanism is moved linearly and perpendicularly to the bottom wall to open and close the movable contact shoe. A gap in the hole between the holder and the bottom wall is very small due to the straight movement of the holder, so that an arc gas generated in the case is completely shut down by the bottom wall and does not reach the opening and closing mechanism in the middle case during current interruption.

  • Patent number: 5666542
Abstract: Defined information is generated for each of screen information, layout information, and media information in response to an operator's entry when an environment is defined. When a change is monitored in predetermined position information using a screen monitoring unit during the actual operation, a character string to be displayed with media information is extracted according to the contents of the defined information. After media information corresponding to the character string, that is, the name of layout to be used and actual media information is obtained, and the position and size of a frame and the display format of the media are further obtained, each depending on the name of layout to be used, media information corresponding to the character string to be displayed with media information is displayed. Thus, character string information can be displayed with multimedia information added together only by mounting the multimedia information add-on system without restructuring an existing system.

  • Patent number: 4243492
Abstract: A crude olefin oxide containing high-boiling ingredients is distilled at a pH of 4 to 7 in the presence of a nonvolatile neutral or weakly basic alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt or hydroxide to separate the olefin oxide from the high-boiling ingredients. This permits the prevention of the polymerization of the olefin oxide and its conversion to the corresponding glycol.
