  • Patent number: 6389012
Abstract: Disclosed is a multi-processor system causing no distribution loss of resources and having no defect inherent in a prior art concentrated management type system. The multi-processor system (e.g., a switching system) includes a plurality of processors each incorporating a function of managing a part (distributed resources) of all the resources, trying to grasp, when the resource is needed, at first this resource from the distributed resources managed by the processor itself and, if unable to grasp the resource, requesting other processor to grasp the resource needed.

  • Patent number: 5889769
Abstract: A switching system includes N handover runks respectively having M terminals to be independently coupled to radio transmission lines reaching M radio base stations which respectively form radio zones which become mutually adjacent zones or peripheral zones, and coupled to remote transmission lines reaching mobile stations of other parties located in the radio zones, where M and N are integers greater than one, out of the radio transmission lines, the N handover trunks selecting each transmission line with a best transmission quality and coupling the selected radio transmission lines to the remote transmission lines; a plurality of radio interfaces distributing lines independently formed between the switching system and the M radio base stations, with respect to different N paths; a radio transmission line forming unit forming radio transmission lines in advance with respect to all combinations of each of the paths subject to the distribution by the radio interfaces and each of the terminals other than the ter

  • Patent number: 5422940
Abstract: A global subscriber group service system capable of accommodating individual subscribers as a terminal within a global subscriber group. The system also permits the subscriber to access a service control node for new registration or modification of the types of services. The system, therefore, includes a customer access function in a local switching node that is controlled by the service control node. The customer access permits the subscriber to access the service control node to make a necessary registration or a change of the type of services.
