  • Publication number: 20060042132
Abstract: The shirts press of the present invention is formed to comprise a collar iron buck on which a collar of a shirts is mounted while being expanded, and a press iron for depressing against the upper surface of the collar iron buck to press the collar. The upper surface position of the collar iron buck corresponding to the central part of the collar in its longitudinal direction is notched in an inverse triangular shape as seen from its front elevational view. The right and left positions corresponding to both ends of the collar in its longitudinal direction communicating with the upper surface position are formed into a horizontal surface. When the upper surface of the collar iron buck is depressed by the press iron, the surface is formed into a flat surface in such a way that it may be fallen. In addition, when the collar is mounted on the collar iron buck, there is provided a receiving plate for supporting the central part of the collar in its longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 7000340
Abstract: The shirt press of the present invention is formed to comprise a collar iron buck on which a collar is mounted while being expanded and a press iron for depressing against the buck. The upper surface of the buck corresponds to a central part of the collar and is notched in an inverse triangle shape. The right and left positions correspond to the collar ends and are placeable on left and right buck portions into a horizontal surface. The collar is mounted on the buck and a receiving plate, which is arranged above the upper-notched surface with the height thereof being set to the left and right buck portions, supports a central portion. When the press iron is lowered the ends of the collar are pressed and pulled out such that the iron surface of the press is formed into a flat surface.

  • Patent number: 6868996
Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for extending the side portions of the shirts put on the dummy toward a side. An object of the present invention enables the side portions of the shirts to be protruded toward the side strictly in compliance with the curved lines by a simple configuration without increasing its cost and further enables the body part of the shirts to be tensioned. The present invention is comprised of side pressing members arranged longitudinally at both sides of the dummy, and driving devices for protruding the side pressing members toward the sides of the dummy. The side pressing members are formed into a bow-like shape with their concave surfaces being faced to the side portions of the dummy. In addition, flexible wire members abutted against the inner surfaces of the side portions of the shirts are applied in tension in a chord-like manner at an upper end and a lower end of each of the side pressing members.

  • Patent number: 6722063
Abstract: The present invention enables the cloth shrunk through its washing to be finished in press to such a state as found in its new product. The present invention is comprised of a buck having a protruded curved upper surface on which a collar of the shirts 1 is mounted and a press iron having a concave curved iron surface for depressing the upper surface of the buck. A radius of curvature of the upper surface of the buck is selected to be larger than a radius of curvature of the iron surface of the press iron. The buck is divided at its central position into a right segment and a left segment so as to form a pair of right and left divided members. There is provided a depressing mechanism for turning each of the divided segments in an upward and outward direction at the time of pressing at the collar.

  • Patent number: 4718814
Abstract: A mechanism for use on a boom-type vehicle includes load lifting forks carried by a low profile twist-resistant carriage which is one link in a low profile parallelogram linkage attached to a fly section of the boom and maintained level in all positions of the boom by a slave cylinder connected between the boom and a slave link which constitutes a member of the parallelogram linkage. The mechanism can be adjusted to many positions while automatically maintaining the relative position of the forks with respect to the vehicle frame for any boom angle. The mechanism can be adjusted to provide a long reach over or under obstructions in order to remove or place a load. It may also engage loads below ground level. Load pick-up or placement can be performed in confined areas which are unreachable by conventional forklift trucks.
