In a keyword search, if a keyword is detected in the text data, the image processing apparatus plays the audio data from a delimiter that is immediately before the keyword.

Abstract: When a destination management device requests an address book of each user, a data transmission device transmits the address book to the destination management device. The destination management device stores the address book received from the data transmission device. If location information of destination information is included in the address book, the destination management device transmits the location information to the data transmission device. The data transmission device transmits the location information to an LDAP server to request the destination information. Upon receipt of the destination information, the data transmission device transmits the destination information to the destination management device.

Abstract: In order to charge a proper amount of money to the transmitting source and the destination, an MFP accepts transmitting source specifying information for identifying a transmitting user, destination specifying information for specifying a data destination, specifying of the data, and a processing procedure defining processing executed with respect to the specified data. The MFP acquires apparatus identification information for identifying a destination apparatus corresponding to the destination and capacity information defining processing executable by the destination apparatus. The MFP then compares the processing procedure with acquired restriction information. When the processing defined by the capacity information does not include part of the processing defined by the processing procedure, the MFP charges a processing charge for the data in a divided manner to the transmitting user and the destination user.

Abstract: In order to easily display data on a display device, an MFP connected to a plurality of television conference terminal devices each displaying data stores device information in an HDD for a respective one of the television conference terminal devices, to store a format in which the corresponding terminal device inputs data. Abstract: An MFP (A) on a document transmission side transmits a document to an MFP (B) on a document reception side. The MFP (A) stores the transmitted document. The MFP (A) acquires a status of the transmitted document from the MFP (B). If the MFP (B) deletes the document in an unread state, the MFP (A) retransmits the stored document to the MFP (B).

Abstract: After a print request is made from a personal computer to a multifunction peripheral, when a user who logs into the multifunction peripheral instructs an execution of the print request in the multifunction peripheral, the multifunction peripheral requests the personal computer to transmit image data. Then, the personal computer transmits the requested image data to the multifunction peripheral. The multifunction peripheral executes the printing using the received image data. When the printing is completed, the multifunction peripheral transmits a completion notification indicating that the printing is completed to the personal computer. When receiving the completion notification, the personal computer transmits a completion notification having the same content as the received completion notification to the multifunction peripheral.
