    Abstract: An LDO regulator for generating an output voltage at an output node of the LDO controller based on an input voltage received at an input node of the LDO controller is described. The LDO controller comprises a first amplifier stage, a driver stage, a second amplifier stage coupled between the drive stage and the output node, a feedback stage coupled between the output node and the first amplifier stage, and a gain limiter stage coupled between the first amplifier stage and the driver stage at an intermediate node for lowering a loop gain of the LDO regulator. A corresponding method for operating an LDO regulator is further described.

    Abstract: The present document relates to a power converter. The power converter may be configured to convert an input voltage at the input of the power converter into an output voltage at an output of the power converter. The power converter may comprise a pass device, a feedback circuit, and a bypass circuit. The pass device may be coupled between the input of the power converter and the output of the power converter. The feedback circuit may be configured to generate, in a voltage regulation mode, a drive signal for driving a control terminal of the pass device. The bypass circuit may be configured to apply, in a bypass mode, a predetermined voltage to the control terminal of the pass device.

The pass device may be coupled on a first electrical path between an input terminal of the power converter and an output terminal of the power converter. The replica device may be coupled on a second electrical path between the input terminal and the output terminal, wherein a coupling node is arranged on the second electrical path between the replica device and the output terminal. The feedback circuit may generate, based on a reference voltage and an output voltage at the output terminal, a control signal for controlling both the pass device and the replica device. The regulation circuit may reduce a voltage difference between a coupling voltage at the coupling node and the output voltage at the output terminal of the power converter.
