    Abstract: Each side wall part on a main body part includes a strip-like pouch part and an elastic member. The pouch part includes a first strip part extending in the longitudinal direction, and a second strip part disposed between the first strip part and the main body part and having both its edges along the longitudinal direction connecting to both edges of the first strip part. The elastic member is bonded to the first strip part linearly in the longitudinal direction. A standing part is formed in the pouch part by contraction of the elastic member. In each end part of the pouch part, a state where the pouch part overlaps with the main body part is maintained. Therefore, the height of the standing part changes gradually in a boundary part between the end part and the central part, which allows the standing part to fit against the wearer's skin.

The absorbent article includes at least one inner bag-like member, an absorbent polymer, and an outer bag-like member. The inner bag-like member is formed into a thin and substantially sheet-like form of a sheet having biodegradability and fluid permeability, and includes multiple accommodation spaces that are detached from the outside and separated from one another. The absorbent polymer has biodegradability and a substantially granular or powder form and is contained in each of the accommodation spaces in the inner bag-like member so as to be freely movable within the accommodation spaces.

    Abstract: The absorbent product for male comprises a bag-like main body part having an opening at an upper end, and two hydrophilic internal sheets which are band-like members located in the main body part. An upper end part of each internal sheet is fixed on an upper part of the main body part and the other portions are not bonded to the main body part. Internal sheet elastic members each extending in an up-down direction are bonded to each internal sheet, and by contraction of these members, gathers are formed in the internal sheet. In the absorbent product, since urine moves in the internal sheet comparatively slowly through the gathers formed in the internal sheet, a time required for the urine to reach the bottom part of the bag part can be increased. As the result, a large area of absorbent part can be utilized to absorb the urine effectively.
