  • Patent number: 9610656
Abstract: A lead-free solder alloy for a vehicle glass according to the present invention contains 26.0 to 56.0 mass % of In, 0.1 to 5.0 mass % of Ag, 0.002 to 0.05 mass % of Ti, 0.001 to 0.01 mass % of Si and the balance being Sn. The lead-free solder alloy may optionally contain 0.005 to 0.1 mass % of Cu and 0.001 to 0.01 mass % of B. This solder alloy can suitably be applied vehicle glasses and show good joint strength to glass materials and high acid resistance, salt water resistance and temperature cycle resistance.

  • Publication number: 20130333929
Abstract: Disclosed is a glass plate article having a feed terminal structure to be connected with a feeding portion of a glass plate with a conductive portion, the glass plate article being characterized by that the feed terminal structure has at least one terminal seat subjected to a surface connection with the feeding portion through a Sn—Ag—Cu-series, lead-free solder alloy, that the terminal seat has a laminar form prepared by removing corner portions (soldering avoidance regions), each defined by a line connecting two points that are away from each of two vertices of one side of a square or rectangle by 1.6 mm or greater and are on two sides extending from each vertex, from the square or rectangle.

  • Patent number: 8072431
Abstract: The invention provides an input/output-integrated display device equipped with a means for inputting information through handwriting comprising a protective glass plate arranged as an outermost layer on the observation side of the device, leaving a space between the protective glass plate and a part of the device facing the same. The protective glass plate is a chemically reinforced glass plate prepared by immersing, in a molten salt bath, a glass plate produced according to the floating technique and has a Young's modulus of 71 to 74 GPa and a Poisson's ratio of 0.22 to 0.

Abstract: The present invention herein provides an input/output-integrated display device which never causes, with ease, any contact between a protective glass plate and a part such as a display panel which is arranged in the device while facing the protective glass plate as well as a protective glass plate used in the display device. The input/output-integrated display device equipped with a means for inputting information through handwriting comprises a protective glass plate which is arranged as an outermost layer on the observation side of the device, while leaving a space between the protective glass plate and a part of the device facing the same. The protective glass plate is a chemically reinforced glass plate prepared by immersing, in a molten salt bath, a glass plate which is produced according to the floating technique and has a Young's modulus ranging from 71 to 74 GPa and a Poisson's ratio ranging from 0.22 to 0.

  • Patent number: 6515631
Abstract: The invention relates to a glass pane including (a) a glass substrate having first and second major surfaces opposed to each other, (b) a functional film formed on the first major surface of the glass substrate, and (c) a conductive wire formed on the functional film. This glass pane is produced by a process having the sequential steps of (a) applying a coating liquid to the first major surface of the glass substrate, thereby forming thereon a first precursory film; (b) subjecting the coated glass substrate to a first baking at a first temperature of 550-620° C., thereby turning the first precursory film into a second precursory film; (c) printing a metal-containing paste on a part of the second precursory film, thereby forming thereon a precursory conductive wire; and (d) subjecting the coated glass substrate to a second baking at a second temperature of 600-670° C.

  • Patent number: 5653627
Abstract: A diamond drill consists of a core and a pair of abrasive diamond tips which are joined to constitute a diamond tip and core assembly in the form of a flat plate. The diamond tips have chamfering sections for providing a cutting blade of a diameter smaller than that of a cutting blade provided by finishing blade sections thereof. The chamfering sections can be used not only for chamfering an edge of a glass plate defining an opening but for cutting a non-circular opening. In another embodiment, an abrasive diamond ring is installed on a shank and used for chamfering an edge of a glass plate defining an opening or for cutting a non-circular opening having a small corner.
