  • Patent number: 11165289
Abstract: An electronically commutated direct current motor made up of a cylindrically shaped non-ferrous stator winding; a cylindrically shaped, magnetically conductive back iron arranged radially outside of the stator winding; and a cylindrically shaped permanent magnet rotor arranged concentrically within the stator winding, wherein the magnetically conductive back iron has different magnetic conductivities over its circumference.

Date of Patent: November 2, 2021
    Assignee: BÜHLER MOTOR GMBH
Inventors: Achim Brunner, Armin Suttner-Reimann, Mladen Zec
  • Patent number: 11025109
Abstract: A permanent magnet rotor of an electric motor, includes a laminated core having magnet pockets, the laminated core being composed of two partial laminated cores. A plurality of permanent magnets are held in a force-fitting manner in magnet pockets of the laminated core, the magnets extending over both partial laminated cores. Sheet metal tongues, which maintain the force fit of the permanent magnets, are deflected in the first partial laminated core in a first axial direction and in the second partial laminated core in a second axial direction opposite to the first direction, wherein the partial laminated cores consist of stamped metal sheets and the permanent magnets are pressed into the magnet pockets in the stamping direction.

    Assignee: BÜHLER MOTOR GMBH
Inventors: Heinz Günther, Martin Gundermann, Mladen Zec, Jochen Bauer, Andreas Wall, Klaus Weiske, Armin Suttner-Reimann
  • Patent number: 10848037
Abstract: A permanent magnet rotor (1) with a magnetically conductive magnetic core (2), which has a plurality of magnet retainers (3, 4) for radially arranged and essentially tangentially magnetized permanent magnet parts (9), and a method for the production thereof. With a common permanent magnet rotor, the object of the present invention is to ensure a simple installation for a low number of components to be installed, very good magnetizability, high strength of the mechanical connection of the permanent magnet parts in the magnet retainers, and a compact size.

  • Publication number: 20150233868
Abstract: A differential sensor for the detection of anomalies in electrically conductive materials has a permanent magnet, a first coil with one or more first windings, which run around the permanent magnet and define a first coil axis, and a second coil with one or more second windings, which run around the permanent magnet and define a second coil axis, which runs transversely, in particular perpendicularly, to the first coil axis. Preferably, a third coil, oriented perpendicularly thereto, is also provided. Components of changes in the magnetic flux can be sensed separately for multiple spatial directions and evaluated. The sensor is part of an inspection system, which includes the sensor and an evaluation device, which is configured for sensing separately for each coil electrical voltages induced in the windings of the coils of the differential sensor, or signals derived therefrom, and correlating them by applying at least one evaluation method.
