Abstract: The present invention discloses a method, a system, and a node for node interconnection on a content delivery network. This content delivery network includes a first-level CDN node that is formed of a first CDN media server and a first CDN content storage and is configured to provide content for a user, and a second-level CDN node that is formed of a second CDN media server and a second CDN content storage and interconnects with the first-level CDN node, where the first CDN media server accesses the content in the second CDN content storage by using an IP-layer storage access protocol. The networking is simplified and the content access efficiency and the resource utilization are improved by using the technical solutions of node interconnection on the content delivery network provided in the present invention.

Abstract: A content distribution network (CDN) system is disclosed, where the system includes a content distribution device and at least one media server. Storage media with different characteristics are mounted on the media server or storage media with different characteristics are mounted on media servers. The content distribution device is configured to select a storage medium for content according to a mapping relationship between the attributes of the content and the characteristics of the storage medium, and distribute the content to the storage medium through the media server on which the storage medium is mounted. A content distribution method and a content distribution device are also provided. Because the content of different types is distributed to storage media with different characteristics, the cost of the storage medium in the CDN system is reduced, and the storage utilization ratio is increased.

Abstract: A method for sending stream media, in which a signaling forwarding device is set in a stream media system, includes: receiving a signaling message sent by a terminal; selecting a media server for the terminal according to a predetermined policy, sending the received signaling message to the media server selected for the terminal and forwarding a response message from the media server to the terminal so as to realize the signaling exchanging between the terminal and the media server; and sending, by the media server, a media stream to the terminal according to the result of signaling exchanging. The invention further provides a signaling forwarding device and a stream media system. In the invention, the signaling stream is separated from the data stream, so that the media server may specialize in its own functions, and it may selects a media server for a terminal according to a policy.
