    Abstract: A method of transmitting data via a serial communication line and a serial communication device are disclosed. The method of transmitting data via a serial communication line includes: generating a signal to be transmitted based on a predetermined serial communication protocol, and transmitting the data through the signal to be transmitted via the serial communication line; wherein the signal to be transmitted includes a start symbol, an end symbol, and a data frame of the data to be transmitted, the data frame is a variable-length byte frame, for each byte data, if the byte data is a positive numerical value, the variable-length byte frame is generated by omitting all bits 0 before a first bit 1 of a binary equivalent of the positive numerical value.
