Abstract: At least one aspect is directed to a power supply. The power supply includes one or more unregulated voltage converters. Each unregulated voltage converter includes a switched block producing an output voltage across its output terminals. The power supply includes a voltage supply input coupled to at least one of the unregulated voltage converters, and an unregulated voltage bus coupled to at least one of the unregulated voltage converters. The power supply includes a voltage regulator coupled to the unregulated voltage bus and producing a regulated voltage across its output terminals. The output terminals of the voltage regulator are connected in parallel to the output terminals of at least one of the unregulated voltage converters. This can produce a regulated output voltage across a pair of power supply output terminals.

Abstract: An apparatus that includes resonant tanks, switches, control logic and one or more non-resonant capacitors. The control logic that generates two or more sets of control signal inputs applied to the inputs of the switches so that for each set of control signals one or more sub-circuit loops are formed, and wherein the one or more sub-circuit loops for a first set of control signals is different from the one or more sub-circuit loops for a second set of control signals, and each of the sub-circuit loops includes one or more of the resonant tanks, and at least one of the sub-circuit loops includes a non-resonant capacitor.

Abstract: A design information communication system having a design dictionary, design directory, and design data blocks is disclosed. The system may be used for communicating design attributes and values for various devices under design. The dictionary defines various attributes of the device. The directory identifies, or lists the required attributes to design the device. The data block provides values for the identified attributes. A plurality of dictionaries may be grouped as a dictionary repository. The dictionary repository may be contained by a server connected to a network such as the Internet.

Abstract: A system includes a server and a client. The client includes a module to enter component information through a template into a data block and a module to send the data block in a predetermined format to the server. The template has a predetermined number of fields with each field being of a predetermined type of field. The server includes a module to check a consistency of the component data block and a module to store the consistency checked data block in a database. Alternatively a method includes entering component information through the template into a data block at a client, sending the data block in a predetermined format from the client to a server, checking a syntax of the data block at the server, and storing the syntax checked data block in a database.
