  • Publication number: 20130090090
Abstract: A GPS signal is converted into motion and idle indicator data. A task database includes task situs-location data, assignment and person data. Determining an idle mode generates idle ON indicia. Determining a movement ON status generates movement tracking indicia with location and time-based tracking over a subject time period. A map over a geographic region encompasses the idle and movement locations and overlays, on proximal locations on the map, the idle mode ON indicia and the movement tracking indicia. The marked map is published. Enhancements define the subject time period as the present plus a predetermined time; a historic period; a selectable time; and sequential historic time. Further, the subject time period is selectable over the location or path of the movement tracking indicia. A privacy event masks the publication of idle and movement indicia during a privacy block.

  • Publication number: 20130090969
Abstract: The computer program manages a mobile workforce with task persons and GPS-enabled devices by using the GPS time-based location data. A database is populated with task situs location data, event time data and task person data and task person contact data. The database is coupled to the web-based processor, telecommunications network and GPS-enabled device. The system operator programs temporal (time) based rules and location-based rules unique to the task situs. Some rules are both time and location based. When the temporal or territorial rules are violated, first and second comm-events are generated by the system, for example, a text or IVR message to the task person. When associated time-and-territorial rules are violated, a third communications event arises. The time based rules may be associated or correlated with the event time for the task. The event time may be a “time of arrival.” Further, rules may be for approach, entry, or on-location.

  • Publication number: 20130090089
Abstract: GPS signal data is converted into movement and idle indicators and is classified as a task-related or privacy event. The task data database lists personnel, location-situs, projected time-of-arrival, time-on-site and other task data. When GPS-location matches task situs, time-on-site data is generated. A movement-ON notes end-of-task. The method gathers pre-set privacy event data from the task person or the task person can, in real time, set ON a privacy block. In real time, the privacy block masks the idle ON and movement ON status until an end-of-privacy time. The method classifies, in real time, idle ON, movement ON and publishes this data on a daily calendar beyond any privacy block. The method also accepts a privacy block re-classification. In real time, status postings note traffic delays, vendor assistance, equipment needed, and co-worker needed indicator. An accounting recovery code can be assigned to the status indicators for billing and accounting purposes.

  • Publication number: 20130090964
Abstract: System converts GPS signals from worker's GPS-enabled device into task related time-location data by excluding private geo-data. Database holds task data, worker-device data. A web-based server captures and stores GPS data as task-related data when (a) contemporaneous GPS data is within predetermined distance of assigned task locations, (b) GPS data is in a task drive corridor (pre-approved geo), and (c) GPS data is vendor location (pre-approved). Enterprise templates are used to map trackable territories. GPS data not captured or stored is discarded or immutably filter-blocked. In a distributed system with the server and a supplemental computer, an im-filter at the supple-computer is controlled by the server. If not filtered, the server effects the storage of cleared GPS data into supple-computer storage by transfer of cleared GPS data to the supplement. The worker can turn OFF the GPS capture with temporary temporal controls. Enterprise templates are used to map trackable territories.

  • Publication number: 20130090965
Abstract: The method provides real time task-related data to customers seeking services by a vendor's task person (T-P) at a customer location. The T-P has a GPS-enabled phone-tablet-device linked by a the network to a task collection database which includes data on task, customer, location, T-P, and current location. The customer is permitted to access the database showing location, the time and/or distance of T-P, the projected time of arrival, duration, and time of completion. The customer selects a communications channel for call ahead time and delay notice. Additionally, the system and method may be deployed over a distributed computed system which includes a supplemental computer and a supplemental database. The web based server forwards to the supplemental computer and supplemental database the customer selected communications channel, mode, call ahead and delay data.

  • Publication number: 20130090966
Abstract: The method converts GPS signals from a GPS-enabled phone-tablet-device into time-on-site data. A database includes unique task data and data on task person (T-P), task situs, time-on-site, and assignment. Server determines when the GPS is in an idle mode defined by a territory about a current GPS data by a threshold or other algorithm. Processor determines whether the GPS moves by applying an “idle to movement” algorithm, movement by positional data or velocity and “movement to idle.” A time-on-site is determined when idle ON and current-GPS matches task situs. Method transforms GPS data into travel time indicator data and time-on-site data for quality assurance, billing and accounting. The method automatically identifies and divides the movements of a person or apparatus into types of actions (including the non-action, idle mode). The method analyses, identifies and divides it into sequential segments.
