  • Patent number: 11018485
Abstract: An explosion-proof structure includes a partition wall that partitions a sealed space in a container and wiring that connects the interior and the exterior of the sealed space. The partition wall includes a filling portion through which the wiring passes. The filling portion includes an inner peripheral wall surface that defines an opening having a central axis that passes through the partition wall, a filler that seals a gap between the inner peripheral wall surface and the wiring, a first peripheral groove provided on the inner peripheral wall surface and filled with the filler, and a second peripheral groove provided on the inner peripheral wall surface and filled with the filler. This explosion-proof structure is capable of improving the seal of the filling portion.

  • Patent number: 8838253
Abstract: A vagus nerve is efficiently stimulated while preventing wasteful energy consumption. Provided is a nerve stimulating device (1) including a stimulation-signal outputting portion (3) that outputs a stimulation signal to a vagus nerve (B); a heart-event detecting portion (2) that detects a heart event; and a control portion (4) that makes a judgment regarding the responsiveness of a heart (A) based on the heart event detected by the heart-event detecting portion (2) in response to the stimulation signal output from the stimulation-signal outputting portion (3), and that controls the stimulation-signal outputting portion (3) so that an intensity of the stimulation signal is decreased when the responsiveness of the heart (A) is decreased.

  • Publication number: 20130035739
Abstract: Nerve stimulation is performed while suppressing occurrence of symptom caused by sinus node dysfunction or atrioventricular node dysfunction. Provided is a nerve stimulation apparatus including: a stimulation signal generator configured to output a stimulation signal to a nerve; a cardiac-event acquisition unit configured to acquire cardiac events; and a control unit configured to control the stimulation signal generator such that sinus node dysfunction or atrioventricular node dysfunction is determined to be occurring and energy of the stimulation signal is reduced when a time interval value between the adjacent cardiac events acquired by the cardiac-event acquisition unit exceeds a predetermined threshold.
