  • Patent number: 9546223
Abstract: A process for dewatering biomass material comprising polysaccharide and water. The process comprises wetting the biomass material with a wetting composition comprising an alcohol to form a biomass slurry comprising wetted biomass material and a liquid component, mechanically separating a portion of the liquid component from the biomass slurry, and mechanically separating at least a portion of the water from the wetted biomass material. A process for extracting polysaccharide from the biomass material and a dewatered biomass material are also disclosed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 28, 2014
Date of Patent: January 17, 2017
    Assignee: CP Kelco ApS
Inventors: Jens Eskil Trudsoe, Helle Bech Olsen, Mogens Andersen

  • Publication number: 20030200165
Abstract: A data processing system, such as a computer system, for administering at least one individual account, at least one redistribution account and a risk taker account, each redistribution account being linked to an individual account and to the risk taker account, said accounts being preferably represented in the computer system as one or more account databases, and said administering being controlled by events, preferably being stored in and retrieved from an event database storing instances of events; said events effecting money transfers between the accounts preferably by entering and/or altering records in the account databases, said system comprising an event catalogue, preferably in the form of a database, storing transaction rules for money transfer between said accounts; to each event being assigned, if existing, a specific transaction rule for the case that event occur real time and a specific rule for the case the event occur at the end of a considered time window; processor means for retrieving from

  • Patent number: 5139612
Abstract: Liquids containing solid materials in soluble or suspended form are atomized in a chamber while admitting a drying gas. Partially dried particles settle to the bottom of the chamber and are collected on a perforated conveyor belt where they are subject to a final drying in order to obtain a homogeneous porous layer while drawing drying gas through the layer. The generation of a whirling movement in the lower part of the chamber immediately over the part of the conveyor belt where the particles settle ensures an even distribution of the particles while forming a layer of a constant thickness on the conveyor belt.
