  • Patent number: 4107484
Abstract: A safety on-off electrical switch for energizing an electrical apparatus. The safety switch is adapted to be mounted on the electrical apparatus, but may be separate therefrom. The safety switch includes a housing enclosing an on-off switch and an operating member, such as a key which is adapted for insertion into the housing to operate the on-off switch. The key has three different operative conditions relative to the housing. One is a key insertion and fully retraction position with no effect on the switch. The second is a neutral position in which the key is held in the housing, but cannot operate the switch; and the third is a switch operative position in which the key is movable from a fully inserted position to a partially retracted position to change the state of the switch from its off state to its on state.

  • Patent number: 4052775
Abstract: A self-sufficient three-piece structure constituting an open top metal housing within which there is mounted a pushbutton lever and a V-shaped leaf-type spring between lever and base of housing. A single plastic insert providing a crush resistent wall between base of housing and plastic cover also holds an electrical switching arrangement. The electrical switching arrangement includes a rotatable shaft and a radially outward extending finger which is actuated by insertion of the mating clip.

  • Patent number: 4002524
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus or system for evaporating liquid and comprises spray drying, spray concentration and conditioning (i.e. cooling and/or moistening) of combustion gas or flue gas. Liquid is atomized or sprayed into an evaporating chamber from a liquid spraying or atomizing device arranged centrally in the upper part of the evaporating chamber, and an unobstructed coherent flow of warm gas, such as combustion gas or flue gas is simultaneously directed substantially axially into the evaporating chamber and upwards towards the atomizing device.

  • Patent number: 3963559
Abstract: A spray drying device for the production of powders, more particularly milk powder, a drying chamber 1, an atomizer wheel 5, means 12 for supplying a solution to be dried as well as means 4 for supplying drying air and a cyclone 9 for separating the powder that is produced the air and powder outlet 11, of the cyclone provides a direct communication with a zone adjacent to the atomizer wheel and terminates coaxially with it, said communication providing an unobstructed passage for the cyclone air towards the wheel.
