Abstract: A user account access management system includes a computing platform having a hardware processor and a system memory storing a user account access software code. The hardware processor executes the user account access software code to receive, from a first user device, a secondary account profile data for generating a secondary account associated with a primary user account registered with a web based service, and to receive, from a second user device, a sign up request for using the web based service. The hardware processor further executes the user account access software code to transmit an authentication token to one of the first user device and the second user device, receive the authentication token from the other of the first user device and the second user device, and link the secondary account with the second user device based on receiving the authentication code.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to systems and methods to enable users to access content authorized to other users. A method for accessing content may include receiving an access activation request from a primary device or a primary user account corresponding to a content item accessible by the primary user account, generating an access identifier corresponding to the content item, where the access identifier identifies the content item and includes access information, receiving an access request including the access identifier from a secondary device or a second user account, determining that the access identifier is valid, and delivering the content item to the secondary device.

Abstract: Implementations of the disclosure describe systems and methods for a user that interacts with an interface for playback/consumption of media content (e.g. video, audio, e-book text, etc.) to be accurately guided back to one or more positions on a scrubber. Current scrubber positions (e.g., timecodes) may be dynamically saved each time that a user interacts with the scrubber. Thereafter, the saved position may be used to help guide the user back to their previous position along the scrubber. In some implementations, a scrubber may snap back to a saved position if it is within a predetermined threshold distance of the saved position. In some implementations, sensory cues such as haptic, visual, and/or auditory feedback may be provided when the scrubber snaps back to a saved position.
