  • Publication number: 20230188296
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for sending enhanced feedback through PSFCH resources. In an embodiment, a receiving user equipment (Rx UE) determines that enhanced feedback is to be sent to a transmitting user equipment (Tx UE), such as based on resource pool configuration, a request from the Tx UE for enhanced feedback, or detection of a triggering event. The Rx UE encodes the enhanced feedback into a combination of a plurality of PSFCH resources based on an encoding scheme. The Rx UE then transmits the encoded feedback information in the plurality of PSFCH resources.

  • Publication number: 20230189303
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for improving resource selection schemes is provided. In an embodiment, Scheme 2 resource selection is improved by using a Sidelink Feedback Channel (PSFCH) resources to identify specific instances of conflicts in a periodic reservation of a resource. In an embodiment, Scheme 1 resource selection is improved by allowing a user equipment (UE) to include non-preferred resources in a candidate resource set based on one or more conditions and/or subject to one or more limitations. In an embodiment, condition triggered resource selection assistance is improved by restricting a UE from sending resource selection assistance information unless a second condition is satisfied.

  • Patent number: 11657422
Abstract: A fleet management system implements a rewards-based feedback system to receive feedback from users of a rideshare service that provides rides using autonomous vehicles (AVs). The fleet management system maintains user accounts associated with each user and provides reward points to each user account. When the user is riding in an AV, the user can access a user interface to select a portion of the reward points and reward them to the AV. The fleet management system may analyze the point rewards to identify individual user preferences, to identify preferences across users, or to identify AVs for maintenance or other types of modification.

  • Publication number: 20230106442
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided in which a channel occupancy time (COT)-sharing indicator is received, at a first user equipment (UE), from a second UE. The first UE determines whether the first UE is able to use a time-frequency resource within a frequency range indicated by the COT-sharing indicator received from the second UE. In case that the first UE is able to use a time-frequency resource within the frequency range, data is transmitted with COT-sharing between the first UE and the second UE. In case that the first UE is unable to use a time-frequency resource within the frequency range, the data is transmitted without COT-sharing in a first resource selected by the first UE.

  • Publication number: 20230087110
Abstract: A device may perform a transmission that may occupy at least a portion of a first slot and perform a listen-before-talk (LBT) sensing operation, wherein the LBT sensing operation may occupy at least a portion of an LBT gap, and at least a portion of the LBT gap may occupy at least a portion of a second slot. A device may perform a transmission that may occupy at least a portion of a first slot, transmit an indication of a resource for an LBT sensing operation, perform an LBT sensing operation for the transmission that may occupy at least a portion of a second slot, and transmit, based on the LBT sensing operation, a reservation signal that may occupy at least a portion of the second slot. A device select a resource for a transmission using a sidelink channel, and select a resource for an LBT sensing operation.

  • Publication number: 20230081456
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for long term evolution (LTE) carrier determination by a new radio user equipment (NR UE), including determining whether an LTE carrier includes unused resources for data transmission, in response to determining the LTE carrier includes the unused resources, performing a collision determination, the collision determination being based at least in part on a randomized likelihood that transmissions of the NR UE on the LTE carrier will collide with transmission of one or more other NR UEs on the LTE carrier, and based on the collision determination, performing a transmission delay, the transmission delay occurring during a random back off period duration.

  • Publication number: 20230077837
Abstract: Collaborative perception is based on recognition that a fleet of AVs and stationary infrastructure objects equipped with sensors may be configured to communicate with one another in sharing their sensor data, thus benefiting from collaborative perception, rather than being limited to their individual perception. Three specific scenarios of collaborative perception are disclosed. The first scenario relates to two AVs in the vicinity of one another exchanging complexity scores indicative of their respective environments. The second scenario relates to an AV detecting that it has a blind spot and seeking other AVs or infrastructure objects to provide information indicative of the environment in the blind spot. The third scenario relates to providing infrastructure objects equipped with sensors in appropriate locations so that, when an AV is in the vicinity of such objects, the AV may receive information from their sensors.
