  • Publication number: 20230130732
Abstract: Aspects relate to reporting channel state information. A base station may configure a user equipment to measure channel state information reference signals associated with full-duplex communication and channel state information reference signals associated with half-duplex communication. In response, the user equipment may report first channel state information associated with the full-duplex communication and second channel state information associated with the half-duplex communication. In some examples, the user equipment reports the second channel state information as a differential relative to the first channel state information. • Publication number: 20230113873
Abstract: In a wireless network, a base station may configure a victim user equipment (UE) experiencing interference with a periodic measurement resource using Layer 3 (L3) signaling, and the UE may report cross-link interference (CLI) measurements to the base station using L3 messages. However, using L3 signaling to configure interference measurement and reporting may result in an inflexible interference measurement configuration and a long latency to report CLI and/or self-interference feedback. Furthermore, although Layer 1 and/or Layer 2 (L1/L2) CLI reporting may be more suitable to track and adapt to dynamic changes in interference conditions, L1/L2 signaling increases control signaling and CLI management overhead at the base station. Accordingly, some aspects described herein relate to an adaptive L3 CLI measurement and reporting framework, where L3 messages may include one or more adaptive fields to support flexibility in configuring CLI measurement and/or CLI reporting parameters.

  • Publication number: 20230112468
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms signaling non-linearities to a victim user equipment (UE) for interference cancellation in a wireless communication system. A victim UE may experience interference from an uplink transmission by an aggressor UE to a base station. The victim UE may obtain a power amplifier model associated with the aggressor UE. The power amplifier may include a non-linearity model of a power amplifier of the aggressor UE causing the interference on the victim UE. The power amplifier model obtained by the victim UE may be dependent on various parameters, such as a transmit power used by the aggressor UE to transmit the uplink transmission causing the interference. Based on the aggressor UE transmit power, the victim UE may select parameters for power amplifier model and may estimate the interference caused by the uplink transmission for interference cancellation.

  • Publication number: 20230104400
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for communication. In an aspect, a first UE determines information (e.g., from an external device, or via the first UE’s own energy sensing) associated with scheduled uplink transmissions on a set of symbols by a second UE. The first UE performs measurements on at least some of the scheduled uplink transmissions during a first subset of the set of symbols where no DL signals are received by the first UE. The first UE receives at least one DL signal during a second subset of the set of symbols, and mitigates interference associated with the at least one DL signal based on the measurements.

  • Patent number: 11622365
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that it is scheduled to transmit an uplink message during one or more symbols of a first transmission time interval (TTI) is scheduled to receive a downlink message during a second TTI subsequent to the first TTI. The UE may advance transmission of the uplink message in accordance with a timing advance (TA) value and a TA offset value, such that the timing advance offset value is zero. The UE may proceed to apply a transient power mitigation scheme to mitigate potential interference to reception of the downlink message during a transient power duration associated with turning off an uplink transmission chain used for transmitting the uplink message. In some examples, the transient power mitigation scheme may be applied based on the TA offset value being zero.

  • Patent number: 11617205
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, a sidelink user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for performing a channel sensing procedure of a sidelink resource selection procedure for identifying sidelink resource candidates in a resource selection window. The configuration may indicate a first channel metric and a second channel metric for performing the channel sensing procedure. The UE may measure reference signaling in a sensing window according to one or both of the first and second channel metrics based on a duplex mode of the UE while performing the channel sensing. The reference signaling may correspond to a set of sidelink resource candidates in a resource selection window. The UE may determine an available set of sidelink resource candidates for a sidelink transmission from the set of sidelink resource candidates based on the measuring.
