  • Patent number: 9602333
Abstract: A DNS server (110) and to a method of managing a DNS request, the method comprising receiving (E2) a DNS request for accessing a remote application (104B) accessible via a gateway (106B) and sending (E3) a DNS response including the IP address of the gateway (106B), the method further comprising a verification for determining whether a port range identifier is stored in the DNS server (110) in association with the IP address of the gateway (106B), and if so, the identifier is inserted in the DNS response before sending the DNS response. The invention also provides a method of transmitting data from a first gateway (106A) to a second gateway (106B), a method of transmitting data from a gateway (106B) to a server (102B) of a local network (LAN_B), and the gateways (106A, 106B) for performing such methods.

  • Patent number: 9019965
Abstract: A data packet routing system is provided wherein: at least one terminal belonging to a private IPv4 network is connected to a gateway itself connected to an IPv6 network; at least one interface device at the interface between said IPv6 network and a public IPv4 network implements a translation function comprising exchanging a private IPv4 address with a public IPv4 address. The gateway allocates to the terminal an IPv6 address by providing an IPv6 prefix with the private IPv4 address of the terminal in its private IPv4 network; said gateway verifying whether IPv4 address conflict exists, and if IPv4 it does exist, for replacing said private IPv4 address locally with a substitute private IPv4 address. A method is provided that routes an IPv4 data packet sent by a source terminal belonging to a first IPv4 domain via an IPv6 domain to a destination terminal belonging to a second IPv4 domain.

  • Patent number: 8817786
Abstract: A method of filtering packets coming from a communication network (1) comprising, after successful registration of a terminal (20) with a service platform (32): a step of associating a registration context with the terminal, the context comprising registration information transmitted between the terminal and the service platform during registration; a step of creating at least one filtering rule on the basis of the registration context, said rule aiming to block packets that do not conform to at least a portion of the registration information; and a step of filtering the packets as a function of the rule created.
