  • Publication number: 20240191607
Abstract: A hydraulic fracturing operation is performed in a wellbore formed in a subterranean zone. A wellhead is installed at an entrance to the wellbore. Liquid CO2 is flowed through a pipeline located at a surface and fluidically coupled to the wellhead. The liquid CO2 is flowed into the wellbore through the wellhead to perform the hydraulic fracturing. The hydraulic fracturing operation including flowing of the liquid CO2 through the pipeline to the wellhead is stopped. A portion of the liquid CO2 is withdrawn from within the pipeline into a liquid CO2 storage container, which is a portable system designed to capture and store liquid CO2 and that is fluidically coupled to the pipeline at the surface.

  • Publication number: 20240180452
Abstract: This disclosure provides implantable devices with remote physiological monitoring capabilities. In particular, this disclosure relates to implantable devices with multi-spectral sensors that sense analyte from within a subject to provide clinically actionable data related to the subject's heath. For example, in preferred embodiments, the devices relate to ports with one or more multi-spectral sensors capable of remotely measuring symptoms of physiological distress via the multi-spectral sensors. In some embodiments, the ports are useful to deliver chemotherapy treatments and monitor patient health over the course of chemotherapy treatments. The multi-spectral sensors sense physical light properties modulated (e.g., reflected, absorbed, dispersed, scattered, etc.) by one or more analytes present in the body to allow for earlier detection of signs indicative of a health status.

  • Patent number: 11980876
Abstract: A method of forming TiO2—ZnO nanoparticles coated by a copper (II) complex includes forming a mononuclear copper complex by treating a ligand with Cu2+ ions; and immobilizing the mononuclear copper complex on TiO2—ZnO nanoparticles to obtain the TiO2—ZnO nanoparticle coated by the copper (II) complex. The TiO2—ZnO nanoparticles coated by a copper (II) complex thus produced have improved catalytic effectiveness and increased efficiency by reducing catalytic reaction time and temperature, particularly in methods of catalyzing oxidation of an alcohol or of catalyzing decarboxylative bromination of an acid.

  • Patent number: 11970741
Abstract: A sex-determination method for a dioecious plant includes obtaining a sample of a dioecious plant and determining a presence or absence of SEQ ID NO: 2 in the sample. The presence of SEQ ID NO: 2 in the sample is indicative that the sample is from a male dioecious plant. Using the sex determination method for a dioecious plant, the sex of dioecious plants may even be determined when the dioecious plants are still young, i.e., when they are seedlings.

  • Patent number: 11949749
Abstract: A customizable router manages traffic between application programming interfaces (APIs) of microservice applications (apps) that make up various features of a website. Various datastores may also be used to store information, such as information related to certain products, pricing, users, etc. In order for the website to function properly, the microservice apps communicate with one another and with the datastores. The customizable router is used to manage and route traffic between the microservice apps and/or datastores. The customizable router may, for example, route a universal resource indicator (URI) request for a webpage of a website to particular versions or revisions of a microservice app based on rules established for the customizable router. For example, a certain percentage of traffic may be routed to a first version of a microservice app, while a different percentage of traffic may be routed to a second version of the microservice app.
