    Abstract: An extruded cracking catalyst may comprise a zeolite component mixed with an alumina binder. The zeolite component comprises ZSM-5 having a SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio greater than or equal to 50. The alumina binder is formed via peptization with at least 1 wt/wt % phosphoric acid. A hydrocarbon feed stream may be cracked by contacting the hydrocarbon feed stream with the extruded cracking catalyst in a reactor unit.
