Patent number: 12284091Abstract: Techniques for intelligent multi-carrier network edge application deployment are described. Traffic that is destined for an application implemented in multiple edge locations of a cloud provider network is originated by a mobile user equipment device via use of a communications network of a first communications service provider (CSP). An edge location hosting the application, from multiple such candidates, can be selected as a destination for the traffic. The edge location may be deployed in a facility of a different CSP. The traffic can be sent into the edge location using a network address of the different CSP to securely allow for its entry thereto.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2023Date of Patent: April 22, 2025Assignee: AMAZON TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventors: Mohammad Asif Ali Khan, Imran Adam Matin, Junaid Arif Kapadia, Amir Muhammad Rao Sultan

Publication number: 20250103244Abstract: An example apparatus includes a read queue to store a first read request to access a first storage, sequencing circuitry coupled to the read queue, and prioritization circuitry coupled to the sequencing circuitry and coupled to the first storage and a second storage via a shared bus. The example sequencing circuitry is to sequence a portion of a second request to access the second storage to be interleaved with a wait interval of the first read request, the second request queued after the first read request. Additionally, the example prioritization circuitry is to generate a first transaction to access the first storage over the shared bus and a second transaction to access the second storage over the shared bus concurrently with the first transaction, the first transaction based on the first read request, the second transaction based on the second request.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2023Publication date: March 27, 2025Inventors: Vignesh Raghavendra, Sriramakrishnan Govindarajan, Mihir Narendra Mody, Sai Karthik Rajaraman, Shailesh Ganapat Ghotgalkar, Mohammad Asif Farooqui

Publication number: 20170034177Abstract: Computer-implemented methods and systems are provided for controlling access to restricted customer data (RCD) by a computer associated with a particular user of an enterprise while the particular user is interacting with a particular customer. The RCD is associated with the particular customer and stored in an enterprise database. An enterprise server (ES) monitors for an indication that the particular customer has sent a request to interact with a user of the enterprise. In response to receiving the indication at the ES, the ES can determine that the particular user accepted the request. The ES can then automatically modify the particular user's access privileges grant access to the RCD. When the ES receives another indication that interaction with the particular customer has ended, the ES can automatically revoke the particular user's access to the RCD.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 30, 2015Publication date: February 2, 2017Applicant: salesforce.com, inc.Inventors: Anand Bashyam Narasimhan, Sohail Sikora, Mohammad Asif Ali Khan, Ramit Singh

Publication number: 20150121517Abstract: A bundle-to-bundle authentication process is presented that provides a flexible authentication mechanism to application bundles for accessing the persistence bundle of a modular application and requesting security sensitive data from a database. The modular application comprises a plurality of bundles such as application bundles, connector bundles, persistence bundles, authentication bundles, and so on. During runtime of the modular application, the application bundles and the connector bundles may need access to security protected resources (sensitive data) stored in the database. To access these resources, the application bundles and the connector bundles should authenticate themselves with the persistence bundle. The persistence bundle provides the communication with the database.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 25, 2013Publication date: April 30, 2015Inventors: STEFAN DIMOV, MOHAMMAD ASIF KHAN

Publication number: 20140025733Abstract: A social networking architecture comprises a plurality of nodes (persons) connected to one another by bonds reflecting common interests, the bonds having a strength, a time dimension, a geographic dimension, and an availability (e.g. ad hoc) dimension. Network members are allowed to define flexible interests (e.g. hobbies, professional skills/credentials), with the network revealing a strength of common interest between individual nodes. The temporal and geographic dimensions of the interest allow the network to connect available members having similar interest(s) in a specific location at a given time. An interface engine may allow the social network architecture to leverage relationships from pre-existing social networks and channels of communication.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 17, 2012Publication date: January 23, 2014Applicant: SAP AGInventors: Mohammad Asif Khan, Juergen Schmerder

Publication number: 20120294879Abstract: Pandemic A(H1N1) continues its global spread, and vaccine production is a serious problem. Protection by current vaccines is limited by the mutational differences that rapidly accumulate in the circulating strains, especially in the virus surface proteins. New vaccine strategies are focusing at conserved regions of the viral internal proteins to produce T cell epitope-based vaccines. T cell responses have been shown to reduce morbidity and promote recovery in mouse models of influenza challenge. We previously reported 54 highly conserved sequences of NP, M1 and the polymerases of all human H1N1, H3N2, H1N2, and H5N1, and avian subtypes over the past 30 years. Sixty-three T cell epitopes elicited responses in HLA transgenic mice (A2, A24, B7, DR2, DR3 and DR4). These epitopes were compared to the 2007-2009 human H1N1 sequences to identify conserved and variant residues.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 13, 2010Publication date: November 22, 2012Applicants: NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE, THE JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITYInventors: J.
