The second MLI blanket further has a grounding point configured to be grounded. Further, a spacecraft comprising such an apparatus is disclosed. Moreover, a method including providing at least two MLI blankets and electrically connecting a bonding point of a first MLI blanket to a bonding point of a second MLI blanket is disclosed.
