  • Publication number: 20160098726
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a telephone transaction verification system includes one or more processors configured to receive an indication that a card user is attempting to perform a telephone transaction using payment card information. The processors are further configured to transmit a challenge code configured to interrogate a card user identification device for a first verification code, and to receive the first verification code. The first verification code is selected, by the card user identification device, from a plurality of verification codes, and according to a predefined manner. The processors are further configured to select a first comparison code according to the predefined manner, and compare the first comparison code to the first verification code. The processors are further configured to, following a determination that the first comparison code matches the first verification code, transmit a verification signal configured to indicate that the telephone transaction has been verified.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a transaction verification system includes one or more processors configured to receive an indication that a card user is attempting to perform a transaction with a payment card. The processors are also configured to transmit a challenge code for reception by a card user device, and receive a first verification code from the card user device. The first verification code is selected, by the card user device, from a plurality of verification codes stored by the card user device, and according to a predefined manner. The processors are further configured to select a first comparison code according to the predefined manner, and compare the first comparison code to the first verification code. The processors are further configured to, following a determination that the first comparison code matches the first verification code, transmit a verification signal configured to indicate that the transaction has been verified.

  • Patent number: 8963734
Abstract: A coordinated system of printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies for displaying information, such as advertising and pricing information. Each individual PCB assembly may display a unit price, such as a price for particular type of gasoline or other product. Each complete PCB assembly may have a number of Light Emitting Diode (LED) modules. The LED modules may be interconnected with one or more plug-in back panel modules attached to a housing and to power and control buses. The module housing may be interconnected with a main power supply and a controller. The controller may be configured to remotely and automatically change the price for each PCB assembly within the coordinated system. Each LED module may include a dedicated processor and be configured to have male connectors to plug into corresponding female receptacles on the power and control buses facilitating ease of installation, and replacement or repair of individual LED modules.

  • Publication number: 20050012477
Abstract: A universal junction box for controlling the operations of an adjustable bed is disclosed. A microprocessor and control logic drive a plurality of motors based on received command signals to adjust the position of the adjustable bed. A universal power supply receives power from a source and converts the power to appropriate voltage levels to power the microprocessor and control logic and motors, wherein the universal power supply has automatic sensing for sensing the voltage of the source. A programmable RF receiver receives command signals from a remote control, wherein the RF receiver recognizes any remote operating in a predetermined frequency range.
