Publication number: 20250190908Abstract: Mine sites are known to include a variety of vehicles of various different types and ages. Such a variety increase the difficulty of the dispatcher's job of allocating the vehicles in a manner that optimizes production of material. In particular, different vehicles and different operators may be shown to handle route conditions, such as grade and curvature, at different speeds. A truck allocation system is able to provide suggestions for vehicle allocation based on the vehicles operating parameters and route geometry. Ideally, implementation of the suggestions for vehicle allocation act to increase production.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 16, 2023Publication date: June 12, 2025Applicant: TECK RESOURCES LIMITEDInventors: Aliakbar Soleymani KOOHBANANI, Mohammad TABESH, Scott GREENE, Carlos VIEJO

Publication number: 20250162592Abstract: A road quality monitoring system is able to identify and display to end users, e.g. dispatchers and supervisors, road segments that are in need of repair. Each road segment may be given a road quality score based on suspension loading data, such as strut pressure data, from trucks traversing the road segment or by launch velocity data from trucks leaving a mine site, such as a shovel or a dumping zone.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2023Publication date: May 22, 2025Applicant: TECK RESOURCES LIMITEDInventors: Aliakbar Soleymani Koohbanani, Mohammad Tabesh, Carlos Viejo, Mohammad Babaei, Andreas Weber

Patent number: 12060153Abstract: An insert for an air intake of a suction duct, the insert including an inner portion configured to extend within the suction duct, a mating portion configured for sealingly engaging the air intake, and an outer portion configured for extending outside of the suction duct. The inner portion includes a conduit having a central axis extending along an inlet direction at the inlet end and along an outlet direction at the outlet end, the inlet and outlet directions being non-parallel. The outlet end has a smaller cross-sectional area than that of the suction duct. The insert includes an inlet in fluid communication with the inlet end of the conduit. The outer portion includes a curved lip surrounding at least part of an inlet opening of the inlet, the lip configured to direct a flow into the inlet opening and toward the inlet end of the conduit.Type: GrantFiled: February 16, 2023Date of Patent: August 13, 2024Assignee: BOMBARDIER INC.Inventors: Manuel Etchessahar, Eric Hansen, Mohammad Tabesh, Vincent Pointel, Stephen Colavincenzo, Alexis Caron-L'Ecuyer

Patent number: 11591068Abstract: A wing assembly includes a swept wing body, a leading edge of the wing body extending outward and rearward from a wing root to a wing edge; a first slat selectively movably connected to the wing body; and a second slat selectively movably connected to the wing body, the second slat being disposed outboard of the first slat, a flexible sealing member disposed and connected between the first slat and the second slat; at least a portion of the first slat, at least a portion of the second slat, and at least a portion of the flexible sealing member defining a slat gap therebetween, at least a majority of the slat gap being substantially parallel to a predetermined local airflow direction. An aircraft is also disclosed which includes a fuselage; and two oppositely disposed wing assemblies connected to the fuselage.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 2020Date of Patent: February 28, 2023Assignee: BOMBARDIER INC.Inventors: Stephen Colavincenzo, Robby Lapointe, Mohammad Tabesh
