  • Publication number: 20230396280
Abstract: This application relates to accessory support devices for supporting portable electronic devices in relation to other electronic computing devices. A multi-part clip includes a housing having a first housing part having a first surface, a second housing part coupled to the first housing part and having a second surface, and an internal volume. The multi-part clip has a circular, ring-shaped magnetic element disposed within the internal volume and forms, through the second surface, a magnetic attachment to a magnetic element of a portable electronic device. The multi-part clip includes a hook-like appendage pivotably coupled to the first surface and has a recess such that, in an actuated configuration, the hook-like appendage extends away from the first surface and the recess is configured to receive a portion of an electronic computing device. The multi-part clip is balanced atop the electronic computing device according to a gravitational force imparted therein.

  • Publication number: 20230094710
Abstract: A modular electronic device system includes an electronic device and a cover for the device that allows the device to be mechanically and electrically mounted to a stand or device adapter on the rear side of the cover. The cover or device adapter can be connectable to modularly attachable and removable accessory devices and can provide electrical ports for powering and operating the accessory devices. While mounted to a stand, power and data communications can be provided to the electronic device, cover, and accessory devices from the stand or an external source. The modular components of the system can be interchangeable to allow the system to be adapted to many different settings and use cases based on the types of components included as the accessory devices and based on the number of accessory devices used.

  • Patent number: 10630821
Abstract: One-touch transmission and one-touch silencing of a wearable group communication device utilize an end user device body and face that can be moved relative to one another in one or more simple, single-motion actions. One-touch audio transmission is enabled after an end user device is activated to enable communications. Depressing the end user device face relative to the end user device body enables audio transmission. While the face is in its depressed position audio can be transmitted. To cease audio transmission the face is released. One-touch audio silencing of an activated end user device can be performed by rotating the face relative to the body to silence audio broadcast.
