Abstract: An emergency responder guidance system and method for directing emergency responder vehicles in a restricted area. The system includes a sensor device, an interface device, or both, disposed in the restricted area and operable to provide an indication of an emergency condition in the restricted area. The systems includes a visual indicators disposed at a different locations along pathway of the restricted area. The systems includes a response path generator communicatively coupled with the sensor device, the interface device, or both, and with the plurality of visual indicators. The response path generator determines a target path through the pathway to a location of the emergency condition.

Abstract: There is provided an endodontic apical plug including a wall, an open base and a closed tip, wherein the wall defines a longitudinal cavity extending from the open base of the plug to the closed tip of the plug. A width of the longitudinal cavity is greater at the open base of the plug and narrower towards the closed tip of the plug, the longitudinal cavity being configured to accept an injection tube connected to the injection device for filling the plug towards a root of a tooth. The longitudinal cavity comprises at least one lateral longitudinal opening in the wall of the plug, the at least one lateral opening being configured to, in use, enable a tooth filling material to pass through the at least one longitudinal opening and into a tooth.

Abstract: The invention relates to a tool for filling root canals of teeth in order to prevent bacteria passing thereinto following removal of the nerve from the tooth and preparation of the canal for root filling. Owing to the importance of this remedial action, several methods and tools have been developed to facilitate root canal obturation by injection of a leak-proof material. The present invention discloses a plug made from plastic or any other biocompatible material, comprising: a central, conical, cylindrical, longitudinal cavity; lateral elliptical openings connected to said longitudinal cavity; discontinuous lateral guiding supports having rounded angles and spaces therebetween; and a double leak-proof cap. The plug does not require a gripping part, which facilitates the placement of a post inside the root in order to support fixed prosthodontics and to prevent leakage of the obturating material injected into the tooth.
