    Abstract: An indicator device is provided for indicating a configuration of a gate valve. The indicator device includes a cam that is coupled to a valve stem of the gate valve such that rotation of the valve stem causes rotation of the cam. The indicator device further includes a gear that is coupled to the cam such that rotation of the cam causes movement of the gear and a gauge along which the gear is movable. The gauge displays an indicator that corresponds to the configuration of the gate valve based on a first position of the gear and a second position of the valve stem.

    Abstract: A wellhead assembly includes a production tree, a sacrificial fluid control assembly, an adaptor assembly, and a sleeve. The sacrificial fluid control assembly is fluidly coupled to the production tree. The adaptor assembly resides between the production tree and the sacrificial fluid control assembly. The adaptor assembly forms, with the adaptor assembly attached to the production tree and the sacrificial fluid control assembly, a common bore. The sleeve is disposed within the common bore and extends from the adaptor assembly to the tubing spool. The sleeve includes i) a first end that forms, with the adaptor or the sacrificial fluid control assembly, a first fluid seal, and ii) a second end opposite the first end and forming, with the tubing spool, a second fluid seal such that the sleeve fluidly isolates a first section of the common bore from a second section of the common bore.

    Abstract: An apparatus or a well tool for testing a blowout preventer (BOP) on a surface wellhead. The apparatus includes a sacrificial wellhead adapter, a top locking mechanism adapted to lock the adapter to a BOP riser, and a bottom locking mechanism adapted to lock the adapter to a permanent tubing or casing spool of the surface wellhead. The apparatus further includes a plurality of lock down screws configured to be activated as a load ring. The sacrificial wellhead adapter further comprises a first profile for accommodating a test plug load ring, and a sealing profile for a test plug. The apparatus further includes a test plug with an activated load shoulder. The test plug is activated externally by energizing the lock down screws. The apparatus further includes a load ring configured to lock the test plug in place.
