Abstract: Apparatuses, systems and methods for insurance quoting are disclosed. One embodiment of the invention receives from a user one or more images related to a driver's license, which are generated by a portable electronic device. The method then extracts identification information from the received images, and generates an insurance quote based, at least in part, on the extracted identification information and presents the insurance quote to the user. The generated insurance quote may be a quote for an auto insurance, a home insurance, a flood insurance, a life insurance or the like.
