Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating an ultrasound image. The systems and methods acquire three dimensional (3D) ultrasound data of a volumetric region of interest (ROI) from an ultrasound probe. The systems and methods further identify a select set of the 3D ultrasound data that includes a plurality of anatomical markers. The one or more anatomical markers may correspond to an anatomy of interest within the volumetric ROI. The systems and methods further generate a two dimensional (2D) ultrasound image based on the select set of the 3D ultrasound data, and display the 2D ultrasound image on a display.

Abstract: A portable medical imaging device for performing imaging procedures. The portable medical imaging device comprises a processor configured to analyze location information associated with the portable medical imaging device and determine whether the location information is linked to a location of the performing an imaging procedure. The processor selects an imaging configuration from a plurality of imaging configurations associated with an imaging procedure to be performed in the location, wherein each imaging configuration of the plurality of imaging configurations is associated with a type of imaging procedure. The processor is further configured to load the imaging configuration to perform the imaging procedure. The portable medical device (200) for performing medical procedures further comprises at least one memory communicably coupled to the processor for storing the plurality of imaging configurations.

Abstract: A method for attaching one or more objects to a data repository is presented. The method includes creating a link corresponding to each of the one or more objects. Furthermore, the method includes attaching the link corresponding to each of the one or more objects to the data repository. Systems and computer-readable medium that afford functionality of the type defined by this method is also contemplated in conjunction with the present technique.

Abstract: A method and system for providing automatic data backup to multiple storage media is disclosed herein. An archive pack is used as a data backup and the archive pack comprises: plurality of storage media arranged as pairs, the storage media in the pair are configured to function independently and only one storage medium in the pair is configured to be visible to a user at any time; and a coordinator configured to co-ordinate the storage media in the pair such that data is stored to each storage medium in the pair substantially simultaneously, but separately.
