Abstract: A method and apparatus for eviction of session data from a cache are disclosed. In the method and apparatus, an aspect of data of a plurality of aspects of data is associated with a corresponding set of conditions for eviction of a plurality of sets of conditions for eviction from a cache. The set of conditions for eviction corresponding to the aspect of the plurality of aspects of the data are evaluated and the aspect of the data of the plurality of aspects of the data is evicted from cache based at least in part on the evaluation.

Abstract: A content item may be received from an author and offered to customers on behalf of the author. A promotional activity associated with the content item may be conducted or performed. A baseline amount of sales expected for the content item during a time period associated with the promotional activity may be determined. The actual amount of sales of the content item during the time period may also be determined. Based on the baseline amount of sales and the actual amount of sales, the financial impact of the promotional activity may be determined. The expected financial impact of a future promotional activity for the content item that has yet to occur may be predicted. Some or all of the data may be visually presented to the author via a self-service interface.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for utilizing a session service cache to provide a session to a client device are provided. In the method and apparatus, a cache is populated with a plurality of aspects of data pertaining to a communication session between a session service and the client device. A request to retrieve an aspect of the data is received from a backend service and the backend service is identified based at least in part on the request. The aspect of the plurality of aspects corresponding to the backend service is retrieved and provided to the backend service.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for trigger-based cache population are disclosed. In the method and apparatus, a trigger for populating a session cache is detected and the session cache is populated with a plurality of aspects of data as a result of detecting the occurrence of the trigger. The plurality of aspects of the data are associated with a session established with a session service.
