Publication number: 20240264866Abstract: A storage management system is described that calculates a dynamic cache limit for a computing device application on an application-specific basis. The storage management system calculates the dynamic cache limit automatically and independent of user input, based on usage of the application at a computing device, conditions of the computing device, or a combination thereof. Example parameters considered in computing the dynamic cache limit include usage frequency of the application, minimum data retention requirements for the application, available computing device storage, a storage consumption rate of the application, storage consumption by the application relative to at least one other application, size of digital content created or consumed by the application, data download frequency, frequently used digital content, and so forth. The dynamic cache limit is periodically modified and enforced to prevent an application from consuming more computing device storage than permitted by the dynamic cache limit.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 3, 2023Publication date: August 8, 2024Applicant: Adobe Inc.Inventors: Gourav Singhal, Pankaj Goyal, Mohit Agarwal, Harish Jalandra, Anmol Dhawan

Publication number: 20240220911Abstract: Systems and methods of route optimization are disclosed. An adjustment engine receives a plurality of driver-trip pairs each including a driver selected from a plurality of drivers and a trip selected from a plurality of trips and determines a weight for each of the driver-trip pairs. The weight is determined based on at least one driver-trip feature, at least one driver feature, and at least one trip feature. A route optimization engine selects a set of optimal driver-trip pairs based on a bipartite matching process including the weight for each of the driver trip pairs. The set of optimal driver-trip pairs minimizes total estimated time of arrival to a pickup location for each trip in the plurality of trips. Trip data is transmitted to a corresponding device associated with a corresponding driver paired with each trip in the set of optimal driver-trip pairs.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 30, 2022Publication date: July 4, 2024Inventors: Xi Chen, Minghui Liu, Yiren Ye, Hengchao Wang, Yuan Wang, Jing Huang, Mingang Fu, Mohit Agarwal

Publication number: 20190312840Abstract: A method of controlling tunneling in a communication network of an industrial process facility including a client computer and server computer running different communication protocols coupled by the communication network. The method includes providing the client and server computer with a processor connected to a memory. The processor implements a tunneling reliability program including a training model including labeled groups representing reliability data and security data determined from data sources received across the communication network and a learning classifying algorithm for classifying the reliability data and security data as being reliable or not reliable. The processor determines if the communication network is reliable based on the classified reliability data and security data. In response to determining that the communication network is not reliable or secure a notification is generated for a user that the communication network is not reliable and the notification is transmitted to the user.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 9, 2018Publication date: October 10, 2019Inventors: Chandirasekaran Dhakshinamoorthy, Mohit Agarwal, Manibhushan Reddy Pottem, Satheesh Bhuvaneswaran, Rod Stein

Patent number: 8050350Abstract: In an I-Q receiver, I-Q baseband mixer receives a real signal, and outputs an in-phase baseband information signal and a quadrature baseband information signal, a decoupling compensator multiplies in-phase baseband information signal and the quadrature baseband information signal by a trained decoupling matrix that, based on adaptive training in response to purely in-phase and purely quadrature phase training signals, decouples the in-phase baseband information signal from a quadrature component of the I-Q signal, and decouples quadrature-phase baseband information signal from an in-phase component of the I-Q signal. Optionally, a trained I-arm-Q-arm imbalance compensator performs a filter compensation on one or both of the decoupled in-phase baseband signal and the quadrature-phase baseband signal output by the trained decoupling matrix.Type: GrantFiled: December 30, 2008Date of Patent: November 1, 2011Assignee: NXP. Patent number: 7639749Abstract: A method for improving the performance of OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) systems addresses the channel estimation, equalization and decoding problems of conventional techniques and provides improved performance in a wide range of operating conditions that include varying Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) levels, data rates, and fading channels. The method teaches SNR based selection in the use/choice of a smoothing filter. The invention further teaches using a smoothing filter in combination with Decision Feedback Equalization (DFE), using a smoothing filter in combination with WCSI (Weighted Channel State Information) decoding, which may be combined with DFE, and data rate based selection (for example, in IEEE 802.11a/g applications) in employing a decision feedback based correction.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 2005Date of Patent: December 29, 2009Assignee: Ittiam Systems (P) Ltd.Inventors: Parul Gupta, Mohit Agarwal

Publication number: 20050254486Abstract: In a signal processing method, a data signal (e.g., in a OFDM based wireless modem) containing symbols requiring fast processing, is divided into two symbol streams, e.g., streams containing odd and even numbered symbols, and, the two symbol streams are processed simultaneously in at least two relatively slower parallel-connected processors. The processed first and second streams are combined to provide a processed output signal in a given time interval. OFDM symbols that need to be processed within a short time interval as per IEEE standard 802.11a, may thus be handled on two parallel connected slower processors. Thus, processors that are unable to keep pace with the amount of processing each OFDM symbol requires, may be used with advantage. Several parallel/series configurations of processors, or processors with multiple internal execution paths may be used in the inventive method. A storage medium that can execute the inventive method is also described.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 19, 2005Publication date: November 17, 2005Inventors: Mohit Agarwal, Amit Shaw, Sreenath Ramanath
