  • Publication number: 20220128174
Abstract: A clamp includes a polymer having metal particles dispersed therein. The metal particles can be made of aluminum. In one aspect, the clamp contains a metal core for rigidity. One use of the clamp is within aircraft for holding fuel line tubing in place.

  • Patent number: 10676610
Abstract: A fuel pipe for an aircraft having a wall made of a material including a matrix composed of an epoxy copolymer obtained through the reaction of a resin of the bisphenol A diglycidyl ether type with an amine hardener, and from 3 to 5% of an organically modified nanoclay by weight of the epoxy copolymer, the nanoclay including layered magnesium aluminum silicate platelets, and reinforcing fibers embedded in the matrix. In one example, the resin is a bisphenol A epichlorohydrin based resin, a phenol, 4,40-(1-methylethylidene) bis-polymer with (chloromethyl) oxirane; the nanoclay is provided in a 4% weight proportion to the epoxy copolymer, and is a montmorillonite; the amine hardener is an amidoamine.

  • Publication number: 20200148384
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an aircraft (10), as well as systems and methods for reducing current flow to electrical systems onboard an aircraft (10). A signal return network (220) is spaced from a composite structure (210) and first and second non-conductive components (240) are attached between the signal return network (220) and the composite structure (210) at first and second attachment points (242, 244), respectively. A conductive component (250) is attached between the signal return network (220) and the composite structure (210) at a third attachment point (246) for electrically coupling the signal return network (220) to the composite structure (210).

  • Patent number: 8618717
Abstract: The invention provides a method and system for connection and/or reconnection of a computing device to a wireless network. Embodiments of the system and method may, when appropriate, inhibit use of stored IP addresses, for example by deleting or effectively deleting stored IP addresses. By deleting or effectively deleting stored IP addresses, the computing device is influenced to request, via an associated wireless communication device, a new valid IP address from an access point which in turn requests a valid IP address from the wireless service provider server.
