Abstract: A bottled water filtration system for use with a water bottle, the system having a bottle cap, a nozzle formed in a first side of the bottle cap, a porous filter housing formed on a second side of the bottle cap, and a filter material located inside the porous filter housing, wherein the cap, nozzle and filter housing are formed as an integrated unit, which can be attached and removed from a water bottle as a unit. The system is preferably used with a disposable plastic water bottle. Additionally, the system may include a rotatable counter for keeping track of the number of effective uses remaining in the filter system. Also, a one-way air valve may be included to prevent “backwash.

Abstract: An apparatus for the containment of objects includes a container having at least one expandable portion that includes an expandable surface and a plurality of elastomers connected to the container and to the expandable portion that normally supplies a force to the expandable surface to retract it toward the container. When the objects exceed the normal volume in the container and the container is closed, the elastomers expand where needed and to a minimum extent as needed sufficient to accommodate the objects. When the objects do not exceed the normal volume and the container is closed, the elastomers automatically retract the expandable portion into a retracted position.

Abstract: A garment bag includes carry handles centrally disposed on the outer surface thereof and a carry strap that is snap connected to eyelets for shoulder carry. Eyelets are centrally disposed on opposite sides of the interior surface thereof and may be used for snap-hook attachment of a utility kit. A pair of bottom straps and a pair of side straps may be employed to embrace a carry-on bag that is designed to fit within the arc formed when the garment bag is folded over. The strap lengths are adjustable, and the shoulder strap used for the garment bag may be removed therefrom and attached to eyelets at each end of the carry-on bag, thus permitting shoulder carry of the carry-on bag. A compact carry-on luggage assembly is formed all of which may be tucked under a passenger seat or in an overhead compartment. Also, the units may be quickly disconnected one from the other as may be necessary.
