  • Publication number: 20240094409
Abstract: A receiver device includes a first antenna, a second antenna, a first receiver, a second receiver, and processing circuitry. The first receiver is coupled to the first antenna and configured to receive a first signal from a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) satellite via the first antenna. The second receiver is coupled to the second antenna and configured to receive a second signal indicative of a secondary code boundary corresponding to a secondary code in the first signal from a second receiver device via the second antenna. The processing circuitry is configured to receive a primary code by removing the secondary code from the first signal based on the secondary code boundary, perform coherent integration on the primary code, and output a geographic position of the receiver device based on the coherent integration.

  • Publication number: 20230393285
Abstract: In accordance with one or more implementations, a method includes receiving, with an electronic device, a first satellite signal and a second satellite signal and determining whether the first satellite signal is LOS. The determining is based on a signal strength of the first satellite signal. The method also includes determining whether the second satellite signal is non-LOS. The determining is based on a signal strength of the second satellite signal. The method further includes estimating a location of the electronic device based on the first satellite signal and the second satellite signal in response to determining that the first satellite signal is LOS and that the second satellite signal is non-LOS.

  • Patent number: 11652380
Abstract: An electric motor assembly comprising a stator having a plurality of stator lamination sheets. Each of the stator lamination sheets includes an annular body and a plurality of stator teeth extending radially inwardly from the annular body to an opening. A rotor is located in the opening. Each of the stator teeth defining a pocket with a dampening element located in the pocket. The dampening element comprises a material that is viscoelastic. The pocket and dampening element are located in a location of the stator tooth that has less magnetic flux than an adjacent area of the stator tooth.

  • Patent number: 11604286
Abstract: In some implementations, a processor may retrieve predicted positioning data and predicted orbital data from global navigation satellite service (GNSS) positioning circuitry of a wireless device in response to a request for device time. The processor may retrieve long-term learning (LTL) data for a temperature sensing crystal (TSX) of the wireless device, the LTL data including S-curve characteristics of the TSX, and the time tracking uncertainty of the TSX. The processor may generate a GNSS-based device time estimate using the predicted positioning data and the predicted orbital data. The processor may perform TSX-based device time processing by updating the GNSS-based device time estimate using a clock signal of the TSX to generate a final device time estimate, the updating based on the retrieved LTL data for the TSX.

  • Publication number: 20210057977
Abstract: This application concerns embodiments of a low cost magnetically geared lead screw (MGLS). In some embodiments, a MGLS system comprises at least an outer cylinder, an inner rotor, and a translator sandwiched between the outer cylinder and the inner rotor. In various embodiments, the MGLS overcomes some of the disadvantages of other systems by skewing magnetic pole pairs on either or both of the outer cylinder or the inner rotor instead of skewing magnetic portions of the translator. By skewing the pole pairs, the translator placed between the outer and inner cylinder is generally not required to contain any magnetic material (such as permanent magnets or magnetic rings, rare earth elements, etc.), which may otherwise cause the translator to become costly and/or heavy, or to exhibit any other number of deficiencies.
